Another staple Filipino restaurant that is underrated in Calgary. Ordered the platter for a birthday party and was truly... impressed with the presentation and taste of the food. They take great care on how they prepare the food which you will noticeonce you step in the restaurant. The place is clean, homey, and the mixture of smell from the different foods is overwhelminglypleasant. The owners and servers are friendly and warn to everyone. The BBQ on a stick I think is one of the best dishes theyhave - but also have numerous cooked food to go. This place is a good start for non Filipino food lovers who enjoys trying outnew foods. I was feeling incredibly homesick, and I missed eating my family's Filipino food, so I looked for a place that sold Filipino... food that wasn?t fast food. I found Lola?s Filipino Kitchen through DoorDash, and the food I ordered was delicious and exactlywhat I needed. I had the pancit bowl with the pork barbecue and spring rolls, and it tasted just like home. The pork barbecuewas cooked perfectly, the spring rolls were nice and crispy, and the noodles has great flavour. If you want to eat food that isaffordable, authentic, and homemade, this is the place to go. Thank you Lola?s Filipino Kitchen for a great experience. I lookforward to trying your other dishes in the future. Read more

I wasn?t happy with the soggy spring rolls and pinakbet with lots of sabaw. But the rest of my orders (S/M tray) were good like... caldereta and sweet and sour fish. Excellent customer service though! And the place was clean. (Late review from last year) Read more

This was my go to spot when TELUS used to be down the street, The lunch box is affordable and they have a good selection. For a... Newbie to the Filipino food the staff is always very knowledgeable and take the time to explain what every dish is. For a quicklunch this is a great place to go. Oh and the new décor is amazing. when I first went it was just a basic little shop. Now ithas a modern and fantastic new look !!! Read more

Homestyle traditional Filipino cuisine. I was introduced to this small mom and pop shop by a former associate of mine years ago.... Since then, I've been back here and there when I have a craving for Filipino cuisine. Must say, never have I been disappointedalthough I haven't tried everything due to me not being in brave enough in some instances. Food is delicious, fresh and full offlavour. The people are the best part. Super friendly, kind, and open to teaching you what is what. Appreciate the education inthe different cuisines. Store itself is super clean, well setup, organized. You can see right into the back kitchen and it isspotless. Read more
