Food was good. Very friendly staff, it was quick good service. Good atmosphere as well. Dog friendly patio and they had... many water bowls for our dogs. Also shaded area for the patio as well. It was getting way too hot. Read more

The wings were crispier than what I?m used to but the sauce was really flavorful and the sweet potatoes fries were pretty good... too. My brother loved the Malaysian curry bowl. The best part about this place was the staff. We came about 1 hour til closing.I know that?s annoying but it was Canada day weekend and we?d just flown in and were excited to have a welcome drink for our 1sttime in the country. We were staying at the Sheraton just next door and everything else was closed. We were welcomed right whenwe walked in. I asked for a margarita and the bartender put his hands on the counter and told me ?I don?t want to but I will ifyou really want me to.? Haha You never really know how a comment like that will go over but it must have come on a good nightfor me because I laughed and didn?t mind trying a local beer that night. So that?s what we did. Really appreciate what this place is all about. We had a spontaneous dinner plans for a party of eleven consisting of 5 adults... and 6 children ranging between 1 year old and 8 year old. They were able to accommodate us right away on their fantastic patio(even our dog joined us!) The kids menu isn't listed on their hand out menu but the server knows what is on it and they are ableto make all the changes you want to the options available (Super helpful for the kids) The food was incredible; it was fresh andit was succulent. The salad was crispy and the burger was tender. With the chaos of the kids trying to make up their minds, oursever got everything right and the food came out very quickly and we left incredibly satisfied and happy with the service. We enjoy this location. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the location can?t be beat. They have a nice happy... hour with some drinks and food. They also have some nice brunch items as well. They also have a separate room upstairs, whichlooks like it might be available for rent for private events. Read more

Amazing new Local location in the heart of Eau Claire. The space was transformed from the previously owned, very dated pub into... a super clean, modern bar. Plenary of seating with options from tables to bar top and even upper and lower patio over lookingfoot traffic below. Staff was super friendly and very welcoming. Service was pleasant and attentive. As always good was reallydelicious with a menu that has something for everyone. Overall, very impressed with what Local has done here and will definitelybe back. Happy specials are available.
