I was expecting a great sub, from seeing the recent comments. the carrots, radish, cilantro, cucumber, and jalapenos were fresh,... but the beef was REALLY REALLY DRY, I struggled with it, what saddened me was it had flavor, but it was just really dry..... Ishould have followed my gut and just ordered one 1st before committing to 2. Never ordering again since I have seen a comment aswell that their beef was dry. So this means they really serve it that way. :( Read more

I ordered the beef, shrimp and spring roll vermicelli for take out. The food was not edible, the noodles were old, watery and... cut up into little pieces. The shrimp tasted fishy. The spring rolls must have been refried 4 times. I basically only had ataste of the food and took it back for a replacement or refund. The lady working there said to throw it out if I didn't like itand it's my problem. When I asked for my refund she refused to refund me. I asked if got could get something as a replacementand finally after arguing for 10 minutes she offered to make me sub. So frustrating I will never go back!! Read more

Subs taste so-so, Grilled Pork was kind of hard to chew and my pre-teen boy spat out most of the meat in his sub. 15+ minutes... wait during lunch hours to have your order done after placing it. There is a folding table but not really enough space to sitinside the shop to enjoy a quick bite, or even enough room for all the ppl to place and pick up orders. Guess it won't be thatcomfortable on cold or rainy days as some will have to wait outside. Read more

I had their satay beef sub, the ingredients were fresh and the sub was good. My friend had wonton soup - for $11 it had very... generous number of wonton (10 pieces), shrimp, and char siu -- very filling. The lady there was also very friendly. Read more

As echoed in many other reviews. Very friendly staff. They were taking phone orders every 30-45 seconds, so it?s great to see... people supporting small business in Calgary. The sub I had was fresh, but lacked something to bring it together. I had askedfor it spicy but perhaps that wasn?t understood. I was hoping for some sauce from the meat to bring the sub together. Quick, relatively inexpensive and friendly. There are other options in Montgomery which offer very similar prices and tastes. Worth arepeat visit, but not that gem I was hoping for. Read more

Visit this place if you need to satisfy your banh mi cravings. This is the best banh mi (Vietnamese sub) I've been able to find... in Calgary since coming back from Vietnam a couple years ago. I ordered #1 Lily's beef & chicken, the flavors were outstandingand tasted like what you could find on the streets of Hanoi. The right balance of crunchy on the outside but soft on the insidebread, the crunchy pickled veggies, lots of fresh cilantro, and with the right amount of sauce that has the right amount ofspice. They also make a killer Vietnamese coffee and the service was friendly & fast. Read more
