I liked the location. Got an amazing patio. Good beers, good ceasar (had one the first time in my life). The waiter forgot to... bring us some smoked olives but their were not on the bill and the other food came quicker than expected. The waiter seemed alsoa bit unmotivated but he was still very helpful and polite. Food was fine, my wings were good but nothing extraordinary. Butit's wings, so I didn't expect otherwise. All in all 4/5 experience. If I'd live in Calgary would definitely come again. Read more
HORRIBLE SERVICE! Incredibly rude bartender and service staff. Been to Last Best half a dozen times, some of the food is... decent. Reserved a patio, didn't get one - that's fine. Asked if they could get us a patio seat when one comes available - 3hours later, nothing, and there was at least 20 seats available - see pics. Worst part - one of the bartenders, said thefollowing. "Pay the bill and move out side" and he was pushy in making us order drinks - even though we just had 3 each. BADattitudes and behaviour - I just have to wonder if we were treated this way because of our ethnicity. Will NOT be coming back -Bar staff need to be fired. Read more
We stayed down at Resident Inn a block away and this food was as comfortable as our home brewery and we loved all the beer.... Don’t miss this Jewel in the rough. Great pizza, and we loved the wings also. We tore up the skillet nachos after a hiking dayat Banff. Then my wife had to get our last picture of the yellow door. The help was great they spend time with you and manage abusy place. They have a covered outside area with a convertible roof, super cool! Those pint glasses are the thickest I’velifted. If ever sold they will Crack a Skull and stay Whole, a perfect murder mystery weapon! LoL Read more
Great service and good quality food! I had the nachos which were amazing, but the guacamole was very spicy! The patio was... pretty sweet, feels like you're kind of inside but your outside. Read more
Just had a flight of six beer but next time I’ll come for a meal too (food is supposed to be great). All of the beers were... good but three were very good. Big selection to choose from. If you like good beers hopefully Parker will be working the bar todirect you to the best ones. Read more
They do justify the name and is actually the 'Last Best' in terms of food. We ordered Cast Iron Nachos and they were so bad and... on top of it burnt. The cheese had turned rubbery after some time and the avocado mash along with it was awful. Since a verysimple dish was so bad, so didn't bother ordering more stuff. For beers, we ordered samplers and they were good hence the 2star. The service was poor and we were not served cutlery. Seems like they were short on staff. Read more
I've been going to Last Best, relatively often, and it never disappoints. The beer on tap selection is amazing with really cool... flavors to try. I really enjoyed the berry sour that I had last time! It does get really busy so just be cognizant of whenyou're going to eat and maybe make a reservation. I can highly recommend the stinky cheese and honey pizza because it is aflavor bomb that is out of this world! We also tried their smoked olives and their brussel sprouts which were both also reallygreat. Service is usually really awesome here. However, I have had a couple experiences where waitresses have been a littlesnippy, or they forget to come give us our bill, but it really doesn't change how I feel about this place ???? Great spot for craft beer and high quality pub food. Spacious and well designed environment, friendly staff, and food that is... much better than what you typically find in pubs. The Last Best Burger is delicious; the dry ribs and wings during happy hourare also great. Thoughtful and comprehensive beer list for the beer nerds out there. Recommended! Read more
