I ordered a large order of haddock and fries through door dash for a dinner in with family. When the order arrived we were... missing the biggest part of our order. Obviously that was disappointing, so I called the restaurant to let them know what wewere missing from our order. The woman who answered checked to see if the order had been prepared while I waited on hold. Shereturned and said that a part of our order had been missed by the person preparing it and apologized. She confirmed which itemswere missing and then offered to deliver it herself! I really appreciated that. She explained how long the order would take toprepare and that she?d be over shortly after. She delivered the order and it even included a piece of carrot cake with a littlenote to apologize again for the error. In the end, restaurants make mistakes - people are human. The differentiating factor isreally how those mistakes are handled. I really appreciated that this restaurant went the extra mile to make sure we weresatisfied. Outstanding job. First time trying Joey?s fish and chips and was not disappointed! The batter to fish ratio was perfect and the fries were thick... and crispy. There wasn?t that gross greasiness that other places have with fried food. I like their original tartar sauce too.The service overall was also timely and friendly. Read more

Favourite place for fish and chips in the city. Deducted one star because they close at 8pm! I feel as though all restaurants... that offer dine in should at-least be open until 9pm. Otherwise food is delicious, fresh and hot every time. Read more

A good weather needs a good Fish n Chips. Went out with family, we ordered Joeys Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque as a starter.... Taste was enriched with cream, clam and lobster respectively. Must try! We had Tossed Salad. Also, Halibut and Haddock wasoutstanding. Taste was rich and quality of fish was amazing. Liliana welcomed us warmly and served with coffee and water beforestarter. Really great fish & chips here! Definitely one of the best in Calgary in terms of consistent quality. The breading is hot and... crispy and doesn?t flake off the fillet like some lower quality locations. Each fillet is big and the value for money is greathere. Each serving of fries is large too and you get an entire bottle of tartar sauce to yourself! Service is friendly andrelaxed. My wife and I really enjoyed this Joey's Seafood Location. A lot of parking and very chill atmosphere. Shout out to Tyler the... waiter for treating us well. Wife ordered the Joey's Fish and Shrimp which she enjoyed very much, different options of how theycould prepare the shrimp so that's a plus. I ordered the 2 Taco Dinner. Looked good and tasted great. Clean tasting with thevegetables and herbs with a good contrast in texture with the soft taco shell and crunchy battered fish. Definitely will orderthis again.
