I ordered from here on Skip the dishes and my delivery driver didn't show up. The staff remade my food and stayed late in order... for me to pick it up myself. Excellent customer service. I'll definitely be ordering from here again, minus Skip the Dishes.Thank you so much! Read more
I ordered takeout last night - just 4 pieces of fish with no fries, no coleslaw etc. The food was 25 minutes late and the bill... came to $36 before tax for very 4 small pieces. I enjoyed the pan fried cod with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. I couldn't resist the key lime cheesecake. Good service.
We visited Joey's this evening. There appears to be a change of ownership there since we didn't recognize anyone. We had a... long wait. When we got our order it was incorrect, the waitress said Oh I messed up. The fries were not fresh. The fish wasnot like the pollock we were used to at Joey's. We did not like the food served on a metal tray with brown paper. The waitressonly asked if we would like a drink refill when she brought the bill. We reviewed the bill and it was incorrect. We had toexplain to the waitress how it was wrong. She got the manager to coupon the difference on the bill. All in all it was a badexperience and not what we had come to expect at Joey's. Came for Tuesday AYCE deal. The fish was fresh and tasty. You can choose from cod for $22 or pollock for $16. And kids meals... were under $7 but portions quite small for children 5 years and over. Service was friendly but we had to keep calling thewaitress over for service. Read more
Prior to the last few times we've been to Joey's we rarely thought about fish and chips. Since then, though, Thursdays have... quickly become fish taco night. On Thursday, if you can't manage more than a couple of tacos, they have them for $5 each. Forthose with a larger appetite, Joey's also offers all you can eat tacos for $18 (fries and coleslaw included). Customers at thesame table don't have to all get all you can eat, so those with a larger and smaller diets can dine together. The staff at thislocation are very friendly, attentive, and quick. While the place is a little on the quieter side, we don't see that as anegative. We'll most likely see you next Thursday! Read more
