Very busy on a Saturday morning - but the wait for our table was quite short. The portions are huge and service is quite prompt... and friendly. I ordered cheesecake pancakes (amazing - highly recommended) but they could have been slightly more cooked. Ialso had an Oreo milkshake which was nice but not as thick as I like it. Read more
My Mom, two Son's and I went for breakfast about 230 today. Three of us had the Pancake combo, which has 2 speciality pancakes,... hash browns, 2 slices of bacon or sausage and two egg combos. My eldest had the stack of 4 strawberry and banana pancakes. Thepositives are the food was cooked hot and tasted pretty good. The waitress was cheerful and polite and did her job well. Myissue though is with the portion sizes. All of the pancakes are about 4 inches in diameter. They're just flour egg and water,why so small? This was especially true for my eldest son who only had pancakes. $12.89 for 4/4inch pancakes maybe one or two sliced strawberries and a half banana is outrageous. IHOP must use medium eggs because the portion of eggs is also small. Howmuch can the difference between using extra large eggs and medium eggs be? The pancake combos are $15.99 a piece. The 2 tinypancakes and underwhelming amount of egg leaves you feeling cheated for the price point. How much would it cost to make 8 inchpancakes and serve bigger eggs? My guess would be about 50cents per plate between the bigger pancakes and larger eggs. To manyplaces like IHOP are cutting corners with, both increasing the prices and cutting the portion sizes. The impression the smallportion size makes is I want to come back for 8 inch pancakes and won't be back for 4 inch ones. I want to return for a decentportion of eggs. Went to IHOP on May 9,2022 Overall its ok 1. At the entrance - no server at the entrance, so i and the person in front of me... waited around 15-20 mins (sat in the waiting area) (short staff I believe) - then comes another 2 persons, they straight go intoin-front of us (we kind, eh, is ok) - then the server comes and bring the last 2 person go in first without asking ?who?sfirst? 2. Server at the table - shes super lovely and fast 3. Food quality (compare to the IHOP in the States) - pancake kindadry, not crispy, and cannot taste that buttermilk flavor - sausage, bacon, and egg is perfect - creeps kinda thick(?) anddoesn?t have that little bit of crispness. Went on a Thursday night which has a promotion where you get a free kid meal with a adult meal which is nice. The place was... pretty dead, only three tables were filled and there seemed to be only one server. The place looked clean and the prices arereasonable, I ordered the Roasted Turkey Melt and it was pretty good. Read more
