WOW! I got outstanding food a few weeks ago when I picked up a 14" Supreme pizza that was to die for, with smoky flavours, I... could taste a mix of cheeses, unbelievable! It was well baked, no fat floating, no soggy or raw dough etc. I also got theSalt and Pepper 1 lb wings (10 wings), sooo so good, we devoured them. Wrapped up our dinner with the brownie (I assume this issourced out), good quality as well. Last night I tried Howie's pizza for the first time and absolutely loved it!! I just moved into the neighborhood and I'm super... happy to find a great pizza place! Had to try ?Calgary?s best gluten-free pizza? after reading all the glowing reviews. We tried the bacon cheeseburger and the... garlic cheese wedges and weren?t disappointed! Picture is missing a piece because I couldn?t wait.... ???? Man I really wanted to like this place because it's a local shop and the reviews were good but I'm left pretty dissapointed.... Ordered a large pie and wings through uber eats and asked for "extra sauce" in the notes and was given maybe one of the mostsauce-less pizzas I've had in some time. Not sure if my note was completely ignored or this was done out of spite for asking!Haha. Either way I'm pretty disappointed. Edit: Lynn recommended I get in touch with them. After speaking with her I am goingto change my rating as it was an honest mistake that has now been righted. I always appreciate a small business that placescustomer satisfaction above everything else. Just a word of advice for those out there looking to leave negative reviews - pickup the phone and call them as the folks at Howie's are honest and fair business owners and want to hear from the customers ifthings aren't as they should be. So glad I found this wonderful place! I haven't been a big fan of the pizza in Calgary since I moved here but Howie's knows what... they are doing. Try the Hawaiian, it's excellent and even the lactose free stuff is good ???? Definitely our new go to place forFriday takeout! Read more
