The good: 1. The staff was friendly and helpful. 2. The waffle cone was probably the best I have had (nice and brittle and a... good sugar taste). The okay / disappointing: 1. The ice cream was very loose and soft (almost soft serve texture). 2. Theflavour profile was a bit underwhelming. Full disclaimer, I am a Made by Marcus die hard. This place is okay. I feel so bad for giving a two stars review to a business because I am sure they must be doing their best. I had a the peanut... butter and caramel ice cream and I could not eat it all due to how extremely sweet it was. And I'm not shy with ice cream, I caneasily eat an entire pint in one seat but this ice cream was inedible. The donut was also not the best, but maybe because wewent in the evening and it had been sitting there all day? I happened to mention this experience to other friends and they hadthe same opinions as us. The place is very cute tho and it has a couple of benches at the front that are ideal for summer days,but definitely not a place to be back, unfortunately. Read more
The fries are awesome. The onion rings are great. The burger has my heart racing. But not because it?s delicious. My heart is... suffering hypertension due to the salt. WHY IS IS THERE SO MUCH SALT ON A BURGER? Does the chef smoke 16 packs of smokes a dayto deaden his ability to taste? Has no one ever told the owner how much money they would save by reducing the copious amounts ofsalt added? I was unable to finish my burger due to the salt. Stumbled across this place while adventuring with some friends, and was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and... helpful, and seemed more than happy to strike up a conversation and wait for our party to decide what they want. They alsodidn't seem annoyed by our taking pictures with their excellent neon sign. The staff and atmosphere added to an already greatvisit. And the ice cream was great. They had two options (it can be hard to find one) for those of us than can't have dairy,gluten, or peanuts -- both were delicious! I was very happy with my visit, and definitely want to go again! Beautiful branding, service and treats. Have yet to try the burgers but looking forward to them. They have creative donuts,... savoury ones too, cronuts, gelato and other frozen treats. Something for special occasions or in the moment. Donut cakes are athing here also. Chef Larissa's passion really shines here. Read more
