I would have ordered food if the waitress didn't make her own judgment of people. After my coworkers and I sat down she asked... for ID in not the nicest way, we thought it was a bit weird but we complied and we were super friendly. We then got a differentsever who started out nice and then when she spoke to the original server her whole demeanor changed. Honestly I have no ideawhat we did. It's a typical pub in a hotel... pricey for what you get. 17.00 for a small plate of wings is not great value... the staff are... friendly enough, but service was a bit slow. Pretty obvious that they live off the captive hotel audience. Read more
Subpar service. Mediocre food. Inconsistent prices. Would not recommend.
Service in Henry?s pub(Sheraton Cavaliers Pub) was not good. When I entered the pub I waited for service A bit long and had to... approach staff member to get a glass of wine after and so on. I asked to bring another after finishing my first one it tooklonger than expected(the pub was not busy, maybe eight people in total). Service attendant was focused on a particular tablewith of two gentlemen. When I received my bill I was a little upset to find out they charge for a glass(9 once) of house redwine was $18.00. Competitors close by are much less. For example Joey?s, Earls, Jets lounge, Rics Grill $3.00 dollars to $4.00dollars less a glass. That?s a big difference? Do the percentage. This has not been my first experience similar to visitingthis establishment but it will be my last. It?s a pub, service should be prompt and prices should not reflect a high endrestaurant. Love this place!, food is outstanding and service extraordinary, I had a great time. Highly recommend it. Beef deep sandwich was... delicious, tender beef delicious flavor, the mushrooms were a fantastic touch. Poutine was incredible, crispy thin fries andrich gravy. And the creme brulee was to die for, creamy and very tasty. This two guys made my night very memorable, superfriendly, knowledgeable and professional. Read more
Stayed at the hotel several times for different reasons, this restaurant/bar located at the Sheraton is awesome, fantastic food,... impeccable service, and vibe just right!! Wings are VERY good, all food is served fresh and portions are large, lots of seatingand VLT's. Location isn't great, quite far from downtown and located very close to Forest Lawn which is known to be the "ghetto"of Calgary, I had no problems and the hotel itself is quite high end. Great experience overall and I would definitely return tothis pub even if not staying at the hotel! Read more
