This location is under new management and you can tell, service is amazing and friendly, coffee and bakery delicious and the... tuna sandwich is now a personal favourite. Atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing love the actual mugs when dining in instead ofpaper cups. Will definitely come back. Read more

My group and I had a great time there. Had a good ambiance and the staff were very friendly. Looks like they actually took... their previous reviews as constructive criticism and came out better for it! Read more

Good Earth Cranston got a new change recently and you can definitely feel the warmth and welcoming presence coming from the... owner and her daughters! I loved how happy and caring they were to me and my company. I watched the owner took the time to talkto all of her customers personally, it was great to see. Read more

Very dissatisfied with the service. I attended with my husband and daughter and purchased coffee for my husband and myself as... well as a pastry for the 3 of us to share. My daughter decided she would prefer here usual tea from Starbucks and joined usoutside on the patio. She needed to use the washroom and was refused as she was sipping a Starbucks beverage even though she waspart of our party and we had spent money there. My daughter also commented the the person was extremely rude and confrontational when she asked for the key to the washroom instead of saying politely that it was for patron use only. Read more

I worked in hospitality for years and was pretty confused with my experience here. I came in with my mom to have a coffee, lunch... and knit while we were sitting (we often do this and don?t overstay our welcome!). In the middle of ordering the gentleman atthe counter cut us off asking about the yarn in my bag. When I confirmed that we were going to stay for an hour to knit, heabruptly told us that knitting is not allowed. We didn?t get it and asked why- apparently he needed the tables? The place wasnearly empty! He didn?t have an answer for us (just kept saying no knitting) so we left. I am confused as to how having a coffeeand knitting while we chat is different than having empty hands but we went to the Seton Good Earth instead and they were superkind and hospitable! FYI apparently no card playing is allowed either?maybe they should put a sign up. Read more

Good Earth cafes are my normal go to for a drink, lunch, and to work. The man who served me was borderline rude and curt, this... is the only location I?ve ever had a poor experience at. After looking at reviews it seems that this is a normal experience. Weall have bad days so if it was a standalone experience I?d understand, we all have those days. I suppose it?s my fault for notchecking but there are no plug ins/outlets available so I couldn?t work for long before my laptop died. I saw one on the wallbut it was taped over- whether it?s not functional or that?s just an attempt to make people keep their stays short, I?m unsure. It seems like this aligns with their desire for people to not stay long, as I was also served my drink in a to go cup withoutasking if it was to stay or to go. Maybe they don?t offer mugs/cups to stay. I?ll avoid this location due to those reasons. Read more

This is the last time I will go back to the Good Earth in Cranston. Today makes the 5th time friends and I have been to this... coffee shop in the last few years. The man who serves and makes the coffee has been incredibly RUDE every time! Today's visitwas the last straw. About an hour after purchasing our drinks I had to ask him to push the button to let me have access to thebathroom. He literally looked furious and ROLLED HIS EYES at me! When I exited the bathroom I asked him if I could please havea small cup of tap water. He said no very rudely and said he only has bottled water! There is a tap and sink right there. Ihave asked at many coffee shops and never been refused. After all, my 2 friends and I had bought hot drinks and one bought amuffin as well! It was not like we walked in off the street and asked him for tap water without buying anything. How thisbusiness is still running I do not know. The Good Earth across the street in Seton is so much better! That's where my friendsand I will be taking our business next time. Read more
