This restaurant nailed it! What an experience. From the moment you walk in you are absolutely swept away to another place. The... lighting, ambience and decor had me absolutely taken and then we sat to eat and let the chef guide us through the menu (this isan option on the bottom right of the menu and I would suggest it). For the amount of food we got with the guided tasting andcocktails it\'s was absolutely wonderful and fairly priced. Great staff! Great washrooms! Fantastic experience overall and Iwill.definitely be back. Reservations are required on weekends and trust me it is so worth it!\n\nMy favourite dishes were theCeviche - the Marrow - the fish \"tacos\" - the rib eye was to die for and the key lime ice cream. Gunna be back for sure. We tried a large assortment of dishes that we really enjoyed from snacks and small plates. But there is... MORE that we know will be delicious.\n\nService was really great. However I didn’t enjoy being held exactly to a 2 hour limitwhen dropping over $250 for 2 people. That being said we did get moved to a nice lounge area. Read more
Better to come as a group to try many of their dishes. Some dishes were okay others had incredible flavour and was quite rich.... Favourite dish was surprisingly the soft shell crab! The ambiance and decor of this restaurant was amazing! I would say it’s alittle too dark for my liking at night we could barely see the food. Calgary is Fortunate to have this new restaurant. Food speaks for itself.\nBookers Crab Shack to Contemporary Latin Supper... Club.\nVenue is something else. They spared no expense with the extensive renovations.\n\nSat at bar as we did not have areservation.\nAndrew the mixologist was very helpful and surprised us with some great cocktails.\nTop pick is the Rose and Clove????\n\nPork Belly Taco was a great portion consisted of lean and fatty layers.\nEsquites Bone marrow corn was very creamy andfull of flavour.\nPato Duck was juicy and tender. A truly immersive and innovative experience from the moment you walk through the front doors. The modern, stylish, fresh and... open space of the cocktail area, and the vastness of the dining room is inviting. The drinks are innovative and simple, with afocus around one key ingredient, my favourite was the white chocolate. Each dish we ordered was presented outstandingly, and allare great for sharing. A fantastic spot with a modern decor that is very inviting, comfortable, and appeals to the romantics. The service was top notch... and we enjoyed their recommendations. Cocktails were unique and memorable. The food has flawless presentation and was very funto eat as family style share plates. The only thing I can say is while very pretty to look at, I wish the flavor was a littlemore intense. Found everything to be on the lighter side on taste. Really enjoyed our time here. Read more
Fantastic new Latin restaurant from Syndicate Hospitality Group (same owners as Orchard and Shelter) located in warehouse that... was previously Booker\'s Crab Shack. Dishes incorporate fresh ingredients and dishes are beautifully presented with a moderntwist. Portions are fair and menu encourages sharing and sampling small plates. Came to Fortuna\'s row bar after a 9 1/2 hours flight from the UK staying at the Hilton this restaurant is about 300-400 m away... from the hotel. The restaurant is disabled friendly it has access the lounge is pretty loud however walking into the restaurantarea it\'s more subdued and easily can hold a conversation.
