BURGER + SERVICE LIKE NO OTHER!!! A TRUE HIDDEN GEM Jumped out for a lunch date with my beautiful daughter Jaica, owner of... Tipper Records @tipperrecords and as we walked around we decided on Flipp'n Burgers @flippnburgers right here in our beautiful@kensingtonyyc !! When you see it from the outside you are instantly drawn to it, as it holds a sort of "old school" vibe thatyou would come across in places like the Bronyx, New York etc. Complete with a table outside on the sidewalk to enjoy yourmeal!! When ordering the owners are there cooking away, smiling and interacting with you. The girl at the cash, equally asprofessional. Small chatter is heard from all the tables, and plenty of smiles and laughter. THE FOOD!!!!! Marone..... Inthe 3rd pic you can see how big my first bite was....and hey some say I've got a big mouth ....so..... Ummm this is hands downsome of best food I have ever tasted....period. The quantity matched by the quality is insane, with nothing spared, this burgeryou see was plain and simply "all hands on deck". The fries have that amazing taste of fry truck done right. If you're looking for a real hamburger, this is the place. Flame grilled to order, delicious and topped just the way you want... it. Small, comfortable indoor seating area, with a spot out front if you want some fresh air while you eat. Definitely with avisit! Read more
A unique experience with good burgers, fresh toppings but even better poutine. The poutine here ($8) has a good amount of fries... to gravy to cheese ratio BUT the most unique part is the seasoning that comes on top of the fries (dill and maybe somethingelse). Definitely give the poutine a try. Burgers go from $8-15 for a good size actual meat patty). Limited seating inside thisspot and can get pretty busy. The orders are all freshly made so will take time to get it. Not always the cleanest withtables/garbage area but also seems short staffed at times. The food prep area is clean and organized though! Delicious burgers, a little bit different from what you have in your mind from other regular burgers. It's a complete dish. Lots... of things in a sandwich. Small place, you may sit there and eat, yet my preference is to take out and find a better place to sitand enjoy the burger. ???? Read more
One of the best burgers I have had in Canada, I went for beef burger but loved the taste of Fish Fillet burger. Staffs were too... sweet and very friendly though they messed up with my order, but after having these burgers I will not complain about anything. Read more
They have changed their burgers since I was here last time. Big improvement, because they are bigger now lol! Everything was... fresh and tasty, service was reasonable, portion size was generous and they did a keto version of the cheeseburger for me. Read more
