The food is always served too cold. The rice in particular is barley reheated and the chicken somehow comes off way to cold... from just coming off the grill. The cold temp has happened the last few visits and ruins the ?chop chop bowl? experience. Staff is polite and the restaurant is clean, I believe the people cooking just can?t figure out how to let the food warm upenough. Read more

The female cashier that served us today, September 30 at around 6:30 pm was the worst I had ever seen in all fastfood and... restaurants in Calgary. She was mistaken in taking details of our order and started raising her voice on us when we correctedher. It was an ordeal going on as she spoke faster and louder than usual and the other crews could not help but look at us. Aswe had three Bento orders, she was so confused already asking and offering options and that seemed made her even more irritated.We love going to this Edo branch, and used to have nicer guys. My bf and I got food at this location.. normally really good. I got the sukiyaki been with the big noodles, no veggie no... mushrooms , and some how every time there?s little bits of veggies.. do they not clean the grill enough?? I get it not beingperfect but what if someone had an allergy.. plus my boyfriend got the chicken teriyaki bento box. Everything was good until hebit into it.. it smelt like mold and the chicken tasted like mold. I didn?t believe him so I tried it.. yup mold. Couldn?t seeany but it tasted like what rotten food or old food smells like. Didn?t even taste like chicken. We got it after I was done workso 9:30-9:45 so when we got home they were obviously closed.. this was my favourite place to eat, always so quick, servers arepretty much always nice, and quick food. I?ve gotten the same thing every time since it was always amazing other then the oddpiece of veggie, I don?t know what happened but that was disgusting. Ordered 2 beef kid's bowls and the kids ended up with food poisoning! Have eaten Edo at the mall more times than I can remember... and never had an issue. Won't be ordering from this location in the future-once is more than enough. Read more

Got bubble teas ( brown sugar and milk tea) & spring roll. I've had bubble teas but this was my 1st time getting it from Edo.... They were both gross and my husband said that the spingroll tasted like plastic. Will not be buying these items there anymore. Read more
