I ordered a pizza and dipping sauce through Uber Eats and was to receive 40% off, however, was informed after that I could not... use the promo at this restaurant. I decided to proceed with the order anyway. The pizza arrived and it was smaller than Iremember having received in the past and looked like this. (minus the bites!) Pepperoni and mushrooms are just thrown on, notevenly distributed. There was no dipping sauce included. This gluten-free pizza cost $47.34 for 8 pieces. I called in andcomplained. I received a call back from the manager and they told me they were busy and were reimbursing me and using this as ateaching moment. This was on Oct. 21 and it is now Nov. 16 and I have not received reimbursement. At almost $6.00 a slice it isa shame that not every slice contained ingredients as ordered! Read more

We ordered a mushroom pizza tonight and it arrived with hairs ALL over the pizza. I have never seen anything like this, it... looked almost as if the hair was intentional because there were so many. I tried to call to inform the restaurant and there wasno answer and the mailbox was full. The pizza looked great, but unfortunately we could not try it because of all the hair. Wewill not be ordering from them again. Attached is a photo of some of the hair pulled off, and some are not very visible as itwas a mixture of black and white hairs. Read more

Recently ordered delivery from Connie and John's. We ordered The Fun Guy: "three cheese, lots of mushrooms, truffle olive oil"... and medium chicken wings. The pizza was really good. The crust was perfect both the crusty part and inside and the flavor wasreally good. You could taste the cheese and the truffle and the balance was perfect without either being overpowering. The wingsthough left a lot to be desired, nothing to write home about. Will definitely order again but will pass on the wings. Read more

Pizzas were okay. The Detroit deep fish pizza was very burnt on the bottom and quite salty. The cheese pizza was average.

First time trying last night and it was heaven! Very refreshing style compared to the usual local places I try. The pepperoni... were amazing, so crisp, and the crust was perfect. Really liked the way they layered the sauce and cheese too. Of course it'son the salty side, its a pepperoni pizza with generous toppings, so strange to see the reviews complaining of this. That said,no heavy bloated feeling hours later like you would get from other big name cheap pizza places. So the quality is high andfresh. They were even courteous enough to call me and work out an issue with the skip driver. My new favorite in town forsure, would recommend! Read more

I loved the flavour but making it 3 stars as the toppings were not disbursed very well. Some slices had hardly any toppings and... some slices they were all clumped together. I was hoping for more consistency in this area given the calibre of pizza. Read more

The restaurant location is right on the bow river at Simmons building east village down town Calgary. There are other... restaurants adjacent and across. It is a great place for family and corporate dinner and lunch. Bar is also available. The menuis not complicated. I love simple menus that focus on the classics. There is a good balance of pizza for vegetarians andnon-vegetarians. I ordered the fermagio pizza and a garlic cheese breadstick. The breadstick had a nice layer of mozzarellacheese. The cheese was of very good quality. I could taste the salty flavor. The oven baked breadstick had crispy cheese layerin top with slight sprinkled garlic. We got a nice Italian dipping sauce with it. The quality of the bread of the breadstick wassomething between a nice fluffy naan and french bread. The similar dough was used for the pizza. The pizza crust was excellent. It was fluffy inside and soft while crispy outside crust. The pizza had three types of cheese but the mozzarella really stoodout. Therr was handsome amount of cheese but the pizza remained intact and did not fall apart when you picked it up. The tomatosauce base for the pizza did not taste like the ready made ones many stores sell. But I believe they do use some good qualitytomato puree to make their sauce. I been in restaurants where they make the pizza sauce using fresh tomatoes . I did not feelthat level of freshness in the pizza sauce. The pizza sauce was not acidic and sour like many stores use which is when you knowthey use ready made pizza sauce. Now the pizza sauce lack flavor a bit. I prefer a bit of slight herb touch. The dough againused was good quality but it lacked crispy base which is something you really want to get in a NYC pizza. The cheese on thepizza was nicely cooked. You could see the grease on top shiny. You know that is good whole fat cheese when you get that amountof grease on top. The pizza 16 inch in size and I estimate three adults can comfortably eat it and get full. The Read more

This is my go-to Calgary pizza now! I cannot say enough good things about it - the sauce is delightful, just the right amount of... cheese, the pepperoni is deliciously salty.. and don't get me started on the buttery dough! Expect a large, salty, NewYork-style pizza and you will not be disappointed. I have never had an issue ordering through third-party apps. Thanks Connieand Johns, you made a lifer out of me! Read more
