We ordered in person and ate at their tables outside. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was delicious, I would say it was... spicy. I loved the fries they looked freshly cut and were perfectly fried. My husband got a four piece and it came roomtemperature, it might have been good but he was too disappointed with the temperature to say for sure. Read more
We visited the Cluck N Cleaver location in the Beltline. This is a pickup location only and parking can be a bit of a... challenge. We each got the Mother Clucker sandwich and headed back to our car to eat as it is February and it's cold inCalgary. When we opened the container we were a little disappointed on the size of the chicken sandwich based on the price, butwhen it comes to flavour, you can not go wrong. The heat with just a touch of sweet and the crunch of the slaw was top notch. We opted for just plain mayo versus their blue cheese mayo so I can not comment on how that flavour combo would be, but ifyou're looking for flavour the Cluck N Cleaver can not be beat. Wanted to try this place as I heard so many good things, and also wanted to support local and family owned. I was disappointed... the chicken was crispy I?ll give them that. But i didn?t enjoy the taste, it reminded me of gold fish cheese snacks. And thebiscuits were as solid as a rock and not edible. How could you serve people rock hard biscuits? So disappointed. Cashier made my sandwich without gloves or washing hands after touching the screen. Sanitary condition could be a problem. The... combination with blue cheese mayo is interesting and tasty. Only if you don?t mind blue cheese. They do have regular chickensandwich. The hot sauce on my chicken is tasted like Frank?s sauce based. Read more
This is probably the best Chicken we have had in a while. It is now one of our favourite take outs. I would highly recommend it... to anyone who would like a nice wholes some "home style" chicken meal , with a great selection of salads. The potato saladprobably has some room for improvement, but over all great take out. Read more
I ordered potato salad as an accompaniment to our meal via doordash, and when ordering I selected the option for a serving for... 1-2 people, at a rate of $4.15. When I received the order, I thought they had made a mistake because the portion of potatosalad is LITERALLY 3 tablespoons. I checked. See attached photo. Very bad value for the price. Would be better to up theprice, and give a bigger portion, or at the very least not market the portion as being enough for 1-2 people. I?m other news,the potato salad was deliciousss.
