A simple way to judge an Indian restaurant is by tasting their meatsespecially tikkas. Their tikkas didn’t hit the mark and did not have the flavour. Probably a 6/10 for the tikkas. The roganjosh was pretty decent and gets a 7/10. Chicken methi malai had an unusual colour but was tasty. 8/10 Onion salad waschargeable and I always hate that. Mango lassi was served in a white wine glass and tasted okayish. The lemon pudina soda wasterrible. It was filled with sugar syrup and was disgusting. We had to dilute it with water. Food was ok and price was very reasonable we had Lunch buffet on our stop in Calgary. Our waitress I forgot her name was really... nice, friendly and professional. Service was top notch. The only disappointment and the reason for 4 star instead of 5 star wasthe Dhokla, I mean guys Dhokla is very popular back home and it’s served warm and it’s very fluffy but the Dhokla they hadwas cold and very crumbly. I am not even Gujrati but I was offended the way Dholka was served. Read more

I wasn't even aware that we have such an amazing Indian restaurant near my workplace. It was suggested by a colleague and we... went their for a lunch. To our surprise, they had a special offer going on for the buffet (17$) which was such a good value formoney. Let's begin from the starters, they had many different options for veg and non veg, everything was fresh and delicious.Main course also had some good varieties of veg and non veg dishes. Celebrated our daughter’s first birthday at Cinnamon. Our experience was incredible. Ambience, food, staff and bar service was... all awesome. We enjoyed every moment over there without worrying about catering or serving our guest. I would highly recommendcinnamon to anyone looking for party hall or delicious Indian food for 50 - 60 people. Went tonight for the first time. Plain and simple - didn't like it and will not go back. Plus side - the drinks were good.... However, the overall experience and the food quality was not good. Service was slow, may be because they were packed and busy.Food did not taste great and we found a hair in our dish - picture attached (although they took off price for one dish, still,as soon as we saw the hair, we lost our appetite).
