We moved from Ontario to Alberta in April. I have not found a more like home pizza than here. Easily the best in the city. I've... tried plenty. I really don't understand the cheese on top of your "toppings everyone loves in Calgary but apparently neitherdoes carmine's. Thank God too I was ready to give up ordering pizza. Thank you guys. I?ve lived right across the street from this place for over 6 years so I?ve always been vouching for them to do well but ?. What... kind of pizza place closes at 8pm. I got pizza from them when they first opened, 6 months in, and 1 year in and more. Alwayswanting to love them? been let down so manny times. The toppings themselves were unique and tasty, but the crust isn?t good sadly. Like other reviews say, it was extremely soggy... and doughy. For the price I had hoped for a complete pizza. The lady at the front was very nice and friendly. Restaurant wasclean as well. Read more

Ordered the Greek pizza which was decent , however ordered the caprese salad for $13.50 and it had 3 mini bocconcini cut in half... and 4 cherry tomatoes cut in half the rest was arugula. Did not see any basil. Read more

Very disappointing. I was excited to try this pizza based on all the rave reviews. However, it was not worth it, especially for... the price. The pizza was bland and the crust was burnt. The mushrooms as seen in the picture were completely burned to a crispand the cheese wasn't even fully melted. The arancini at least tasted good but couldn't make up for the terrible pizza. Usually they're amazing! Due to the price we usually only get Carmines when it's just adults and no kids and the "fancier" pizza... place we order from. However we did call 30 minutes before closing without realizing the time....and he asked us to pick upwithin 20 minutes which is usually when we do anywho. I am a cook at another kitchen in town so I understand closing completelyand did contemplate calling back to cancel but figured it was enough time. I wish I went with that feeling. The pizza we pickedup tonight (pick up order, not delivery) was sub par at best and feeling a bit "jipped" is what I want to say. The pizza wassoggy and very slapped together. Not at all what I've received before. If you don't want to make pizza 30 minutes before close,don't take a call in order? Just make up some excuse about you're already closing or just don't pick up the call? If you'regoing to charge $30 a pie approx. It should be the same quality throughout the 4 hour night. Read more
