Being visitors to Calgary, we weren?t sure what to expect with respect to Chinese food. We were pleasantly surprised by the... quality of food from this HK café/ restaurant. Not only were the portions huge, but the flavour was fantastic. The seating wascomfortably spaced, such that even if the restaurant was full, you wouldn?t feel cramped. Fantastic food here! The restaurant was clean and very well decorated and lit. The food was a good price and we loved everything... we got. Our favorite was the beef brisket curry! We also ordered the pepper beef crispy noodle and Hainanese chicken and I saythose are also a must try. Yet another restaurant we used to eat at regularly before the pandemic. They used to be a pretty amazing place. Recently food... quality has taken a dive while their prices have been hiked. You cannot expect to maintain a customer base this way. Adding toprice hike and quality downgrades, service was lacking and their specialty food items they are well known for were sold out. Thefood items which make this restaurant a worthwhile place to eat. To top it all off, their dinner ware is horrendous. Every otherChinese restaurant I've ate at has had ceramic bowls. When you get soup in a plastic bowl with a massive lip, how is it possibleto sip the last bits from the bowl? Not to mention, the soup broths we had recently are terrible and bland. Love going to this restaurant for tripe soup noodles and curry brisket rice. Portion is great and taste is always... delicious. Also their after lunch specials is a must try between 2pm-5pm. Great price and portions. Read more

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Calgary. It has a really nice and clean atmosphere and staff is very nice. Service is... a little slow sometimes but it's worth the wait. They have a lot of choices for food and drinks and lots of lunch specials. Theyalso have a large menu for cold and hot drinks. They serve mostly hong kong style food but have some korean and Japanese dishesas well. Read more
