A real gem and it's no surprise they are growing fast. The corona on tap is a nice touch, surprising it's not more common. When... it seems like every new spot on the corner has great tacos, Blanco knocks it out of the park for real and it certainly isn'toverpriced. We went late night on a weekday - Blanco is great for this as they have the vibe of a restaurant downtown or in a much larger... city. Great if you want to hang out with friends for a margarita and tacos. The chili coconut margarita was definitely the star!When tacos are on special, it's great value, otherwise a little expensive. This restaurant was great at first, however quality and quantity of food has been steadily decreasing, and food/service has been... incredibly inconsistent. Seems like depending on which chef is working, the food is completely different. We were gettingtakeout almost every week, and more than half the time something was missing from our order. Really good margaritas. I only wish that there were more options for frozen margaritas, there were only lime and strawberry... (both of which were delicious). Lots of options for non frozen margs though, I just don't like those as much. Food was great aswell. I had the three tacos (chicken, pork, fish), and my friend got the chicken quesadilla. The tacos don't come with salsa orsour cream, that costs extra. Cheese costs $3 as well, be warned. I would come here again. Read more

This is the best Blanco in the city. However, when you compare it to some other hidden gems in this city; it has room to grow.... Mainly, Blanco offers a best in Calgary Tequila menu with many imported bottles that are rare to come by in Western Canada. Thatsaid, you pay a hefty penny for the tequila pours, I tried mine on the rocks with a hint of lime. On these grounds, it is anabsolute must to come during happy hour from 2-5 pm, where the tequila goes half off and you can get a standard pour of highquality sauce. Margaritas were great, done well and proper. Kinda like a nice steak but think in this case TEQUILA. The tacoshere are pretty great with 4 to 5 hot sauces added. Here, I would like to see an ultra spicy option though moving forward for ushot sauce addicts. You know the kind that makes your pores sweat instantly. The food was pretty good depending on the order. Forinstance, the crispy tilapia tacos were to die for; the chicken ones were to dry; and the beef was spot on. Keep this in mindfor your order! The beer selection was great offering Mexican imports and some domestic beer taps. On that note, I went to ordera Texas lone star brew and they were completely out of stock which was a bit of a let down as I had a Texas buddy talking aboutthe state beer and I was pretty excited to give it a try. This is a great restaurant atmosphere and I love eating here for anight out with friends ,but it is not really a place for date night in my opinion. This is an easy 4/5 star review for me!Restaurant is very clean with pretty good service and great bathrooms. Thanks Blanco! Nice interior. Super friendly and attentive staff! Great Margaritas and food! I loved it that the Guacamole ???? is prepared at... the table, doesn’t get any fresher than that! For us it is a great new discovery in the neighbourhood. We definitively will goback for drinks/food ???????? Read more
