Went for taco Tuesday and the vibe was good. Had to put my name on a wait list. But it wasn't too bad. Once we got in and sat... down, we ordered tacos and drinks. It all came pretty quickly and the staff were awesome and fun. I had fish, beef, pork andshrimp tacos. Next time I would only get the shrimp. The other ones pretty much all rated a 5-6/10 the shrimp was more like a7.5/10. Read more
Came for taco Tuesday and it?s a great deal (7.50 for 3 tacos!). The food is pretty good and they have a huge selection of hot... sauces. It did take a lot of time for the order to come but I understand that their always crazy busy. Make sure you?re not evena minute late for your reservation since they?ll just cross your name off the list (I came five minutes late, even left them avoicemail stating I?d be late but I guess they didn?t listen to it). The food was excellent and loved the spicy coco chilli margarita. The waitress made us feel super welcome and suggested the best... bites to go along with the drinks. Must visit if you're in downtown Calgary. We made no reservations but i would recommend thatyou do coz it's a hot spot. Outdoor seating is available but we chose to side inside as it was sunny out. The Blanco Cantina is in a good location and the atmosphere is warm and vibrant. There are lots of colorful decoration, lights,... and televisions. Everything feels welcoming from the bar to the wooden stools. The people are very friendly and giveexceptional customer service. They make sure to make room for everyone whether it is someone with a reservation or aspontaneous walk-in. They are happy to answer questions and food comes out quickly. The food was very tasty. It had all thesavory and spice that I look for in mexican cuisine and the side dishes/condiments are freshly made. I enjoyed the meal verymuch. Sadly, this was docked two stars because it is overly expensive for what you get and when I ordered the special, it isnot made clear that what comes with it still costs it's regular price. Came here twice over the last 2 weeks because it was so good! They play such good music on Saturday nights, it?s a very nice... ambiance. They have half price tequila and tacos after 9pm which is amazing! I like the watermelon margarita and the wings aresuper delicious too. Read more

The food was decent, it is definitely worth it coming for taco Tuesday. I enjoyed the DIY aspect of building the fish tacos... fajita style as I don?t eat tacos often, so that was fun. I absolutely loved the slightly spicy mayo sauce. The portions weregreat and the gauc for the nachos were delicious, although it would?ve been a lot better if they could spread the nachoseasoning out evenly. Overall, I would come again. Read more
Looking for Mexican food, this place has got most of the Mexican flavours. I went at the happy hour on Friday night and the... place was crowded but we got the seat with unlimited free nachos????. Food was good and drinks( loved raspberry slushbergMocktail)were good too, they also have veggie and non veg options both though I couldn?t find any dishes for eggs. Overall goodplace to go in Calgary. They served yummy Fajitas and loved Mexican Street corn and the Margarita. Nice ambience, friendly staffand good food at a good price. Read more
