We had ventured out to our Goto restaurant for Greek however the restaurant was hosting a private event, luckily for us we... noticed Big T's near by and the smell of brisket and bbq sauce was extremely inticing. Our waitress was really friendly and gaveus a detailed over view of the menu and the various bbq sauces. My partner and I decided to order the Big T's platter platter,we almost ordered a starter of shrimp, in hind sight that would have been insane given the amount of food. The menu did state?feeds three to five? however I find it?s rare these days that one platter is up to that challenge. After about twenty fiveminutes our platter arrived and it was no joke, the amount of meat, sides and giant portion of crispy fries was insane for twopeople, the half rack of ribs was fall off the bone tender, the pulled pork was flavorful and the taste of smoke wasincredible, the brisket was soft and went really well with the gravy and assortment of bbq sauces on the table, the half chickenwas crispy and slightly blackened with the meat effortlessly sliding off the bone, the on house gravy was surprisingly tasty, Ireally enjoyed the gravy, the spicy coleslaw was a decent touch and the beans were loaded with soft pork. My only criticism onthe platter would be the rib ends, I found them to be very bland and I felt they were boiled a bit too long, also the lack ofsauce on them was noticeable. All in all I definitely recommend checking out Big T?s especially if you have company in town andwant to experience a great group platter. Read more

We ordered prawn and poutine to start and ribs, fish, salad, brisket, and their burger for main. Poutine was spot on. Crispy... fries and delicious gravy. Shrimp was OK St. Louis Rack was very well prepared. Baby-back ribs was a big miss. Fish was goodBrisket was good. Corn breads needed 30 seconds to a minutes more in the oven. Great afternoon lunch at Big T's in Deer Run today. Went with a friend and braved the Brisket BBQ Burger for 18.50, 2 dollars... extra for cheese. Could barely get my big mouth around it before sinking my teeth in and the favor of this 6oz patty withbrisket just demolished the hunger after a hard day of moving furniture.
