My daughter and I randomly saw this place and decided to grab a bite. First time there and it was so great. The Lemon chicken... and secret sauce chicken was so amazing, we did a half order of each. The gf and I ordered the ?secret sauced?, ?soy garlic? chicken, French fries with spicy mayo, ?cheeseling? fries with a side of... rice. We both really liked our meals and noticed that the service was great. Our server was super nice. The location is cleanand we got our orders quickly as well. The only quarrel we had was that for the bone-in chicken pieces, they were quite small (2pieces were even flats). The price however is fair for what we ordered. Read more
Love the boneless chicken here, both the soy garlic and honey garlic are delicious if you prefer a wet rub. Can take a bit of... time to prepare so order ahead to pick up right away on arrival. Read more
Terrible service! I?ve been here quite a few times now and I always come on Friday after work. There is usually a lady working... and she is really good. Today was very disappointing. They had a super young kid working who seemed to be brand new and have noclue whatsoever how to work in a fast food restaurant. He was super slow taking orders and seemed to have trouble running thetill and the payment machine. Poor guy. Only bad management would have a newbie work by himself on a busy Friday night. When Iwalked in, there was only one other person waiting for their take out order and a couple that was still deciding what theywanted to order. So my order should have taken only 15 minutes like usual, but it took 35 minutes and just sat there on thecounter for probably about 10 of those minutes. My food had been up for several minutes and he just kept taking orders at thetill. In the meantime, two delivery guys came in to pick up their orders, which were sitting out on the counter and he made themboth wait as he watched the couple at the till use the point of sale machine! Finally, after waiting 35 minutes for 1 order ofchicken and 1 order of fries, I went up to the counter and asked for my order which had been sitting there for a while. Heapologized, but it didn?t change the fact that the store was left being run by an inexperienced worker and I had waited 20minutes longer than the usual 15 for my order. This was what we got for $21.50 Cheese Buldak. Not to mention the portion size is ridiculous, there was only about 6 pieces of... bite-size or smaller chickens, which were all hard and dry and the taste of the sauce was different than other bbq chickenlocations in a bad way. Also, we ordered fried chicken and it was bland and undercooked, meat around the bone still pink. Thisis certainly not the one time occasion as I ordered the Cheese Buldak once before from here and the result was similar - theportion size was slightly more that time (just enough to cover the bottom of the bowl) but Cheese Buldak came without cheese ontop. Wouldn't have ordered from here again if I didn't select this location by mistake. I do not recommend this location, unlessyou want to waste your money! Read more
Was finally able to visit this new Korean Chicken restaurant called bb.q Chicken Lemon in Southland Crossing and it was worth... the wait! . The menu is uncomplicated, very unpretentious really but the food was incredible! I?ve visited a few Korean FriedChicken places in the city but this eatery has got to be one of my favourites. . We had: *Crunch Prawn Stick (4 pcs), $9 - WOWZAand YUMZA! Very flavourful and true to its name, very crunchy! It came with a couple of dipping sauces. I loved the spicygarlicky, aioli type sauce. I didn?t try the other one. *Chicken Fried Rice, $16 - This was good! It was served on a sizzlinghot plate. This needs to be eaten right away while hot and we did devour it like there was no tomorrow. *Cheese Bul-Dak, $19 -FIERY but ohhhh so good. I had to stop after a couple of bites. *Golden Fried Chicken, $19 - YUMZA and WOWZA! one of myfavourites of the night. It?s the restaurant?s signature chicken dish. Juicy and superbly crunchy! *Soy Garlic Chicken, $20 -WOWZA and YUMZA and my favourite of them all. Perfectly sauced and yet the texture and the crunch and the juiciness of thechicken remained even after a few minutes. *Gangnam Chicken, $20 - YUMZA! The spicy and sweet glaze made this one awinner. *Mala Hot Chicken, $20 - FIERY! The mala sauce was just too much for me! But my friends said it was really goodtoo. *Lemon Cheesling Chicken, $20 - WOWZA and YUMZA! My 3rd favourite of the night. The boneless fried chicken pieces werepowdered mascarpone and cheddar cheesling and coated with their signature lemon sauce. *Spicy Dukk-Bokki, $13 - WOWZA! It wasspicy too but this one I was able to handle. This was perfectly done. The sauce was very delicious yet restrained. . The lady atthe counter was very welcoming and friendly and very efficient. The owners came to our table and both very welcoming. It wasalmost closing time so even the young cook came out and told us information about the dishes. . Will definitely come back again! Read more
My first of many delicious meals at this spot! The menu is simple and unassuming with an exceptional array of BBQ and fried... Chicken options. Ordered the fried chicken burger (special sauce) for a quick lunch with the cheesling fries and never have Ibeen more satisfied with the crispiness and crunch of everything! AMAZING. I?m absolutely in love with this place and I cannotwait to try and eat everything here. A+++ if I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Read more
The service was great, friendly staff and so helpful. The chicken burger tastes amazing and it is really big!! the fried chicken... was good too. The salad was nice but not wow and the coleslaw was alright but not the best. Overall great experience and woulddefinitely recommend it! Read more
