1) E-mailed to reserve a large room as I was initially anticipating a large crowd, but a group of my friends couldn't attend. I... told them I'd have a smaller group but we were still around 8-9 people. They gave us such a small room! We barely had room toput our coats. I was expecting a much larger room since their site boasts rooms that should fit large crowds (up to 30)comfortably, and this was absolutely not the case. 2) Song selections were so bad. Everything was in Korean which was already abad setup, but to make it worse, according to their list, the songs were last updated in 2018. I even checked with them thetypes of songs they'd have prior to confirming the booking. I was told the system updates "automatically", but we couldn't findhit songs from 2020-2021. The song selection was pathetic, we ended up jamming to Lady Gaga, Edith Piaf, Michael Jackson, etc,so yeah you get the picture. Microphones are not adjustable, the volume of the music was so loud it drowned out the microphones,plus, the echo was dreadful, there's no way to control it from the microphones. I own 4 microphones at home which were superiorto these, which is sad. One of the worst karaokes I've been to. I could very well have invested the money on more drinks andjust sang at home had I known how badly the private rooms were set up. This place is great to go chill and eat! Updated menu and food is tasty. The tteok-bokki is perfectly balance with good amount... of spicy and sweet flavor. Definitely one of best I have had on town. Read more
During the 1st weekend of YYC Stampede we had stopped in 11PM for eats and not sure what was going on as unfortunately as it was... our 1st visit there to quickly discover the service was all over the place, the food came out not really ok including myfriend's quesadilla that had to get remade. Other dishes that had sauce in containers were spilled onto plates during the foodbeing dropped off. We actually dont even know who our server was as we had about 4. There were 3 other tables with groups of 2-4 humans but the karaoke rooms started to fill up so not sure if they were under staffed but certain staff seemed to be hangingby the bar LOL. It was NOT even busy. We tried our best to get a manager or whoever in charge to help us out but we honestlywere like what is going on with this place?! Mind you its changed over and renos few times in few years. Not sure if the staffwere like oh they won't notice and assumed we were intoxicated but whatever what was going on, we unfortunately wont be back asno one seemed apologetic for all the fuss. I booked a large room for the 12 of us for a stagette and we all had a great time. The sound system is awesome, service was... quick and friendly, and the bottle service was all set when we got to the room. Note: If you don’t want them to hold onto yourcredit card (presumably as collateral) then you should settle the bill right away. Read more
