A solid neighborhood bar/restaurant. I always get the Bella Roma Special pizza. It's reeeally good. I highly recommend it. 8... inch pan size cooks/tastes the best in my opinion (pizza in photo is 10 inch, fyi). Pretty casual decor inside. The bar is onthe left, dining on the right side. Amazing local pub! Tasty food and super friendly staff. Service was quick! Love the ambiance and the music level is just right... so you can enjoy your dining company. Plenty of screens to watch the game. My only gripe is they didn't have any of the Olympicson while we were there. Bathrooms were clean and well attended. Wednesday wing night is a must $8 for 12 wings with a specialon wine. The Bella Roma special pizza is to die for best 5-star pizza pie in Calgary! A must try if your in the Glenmore area. Read more

I stopped to pick up two pizzas and a beef dip on my way home from work for my family. While I was waiting I sat in the lounge... and had a nice cold craft beer. Yes I said craft beer now at Bella Roma!! I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner (boughtthis 40 year old local gem in Nov 2020) John Robarts who I learned from our discussion has a little more than 27 years runningsome of Calgary's tastiest restaurants liked Bella Roma so much he bought the company! John and his family actually live in theneighborhood and were customers. Anyhow, I LOVE pizza and must say I eat way too much of it. We had the all meat and a doublebeef and onion along with the beef dip, gravy and fries. The pizza was done absolutely perfectly and the toppings were fresh andplentiful. The crust and sauce really stood out for me. Our daughter was very happy with the beef dip and was not asking"where's the beef"! lol. Fries and gravy were not just average like most places. You can tell these were more of an elevatedrestaurant/pub fries for sure. I wish the new owner and his family all the best and am looking forward to bringing my family inas I can see that the restaurant dining area and bathrooms have been renovated and the menu has some nice enhancements to it. 5Stars happy to recommend. I came in for a beer while waiting for my order. It was flat, I asked for a new one and the server checked the keg and said my... beer was the last of the keg. He changed the keg and got me a fresh beer. That was no problem at all. Service was great! I tookmy pizzas home, they were good but one seemed to be cooked a bit less than the others. A but of inconsistency there. The crustis nice, the toppings are generous. I happened to be the only one In my group who ate the pizza that was cooked slightly lessand within about 45 minutes of eating it I was hit with intense stomach cramps and a word that starts with D and rhymes withkorea. I last ate about 7 hours earlier so was likely this pie. I've eaten here in the last and it's bee great. Must have justbeen a one off for me. :( Read more
