Favorite restaurant in the city. The restaurant is beautiful and quaint, courtyard patio is a hidden gem, all of chef's... culinary creations are delicious and the attention to detail and attentive and genuine service by the owner is impressive. Wechose Alloy as a wedding venue because of all these reasons, to this day our family and friends continue to tell us that thiswas the best meal they've had. Highly recommend to all locals and anyone visiting Calgary to make a stop at Alloy, you will notbe disappointed! Read more
Incredible service and food was outstanding. My server Ginger is so amazing and super friendly. I had the lamb shank holy Molly... was it good. The desert was a bit to sweet for me but very delicious. I am definitely going back again. The food selection sovast I wish I had tried more than 3 dishes. Read more
Excellent experience at Alloy! Service was great, food was superb! Cannot express how impressed we all were. The short ribs were... probably the best I?ve ever had. The lamb was excellent and the enchiladas are the star of this dish. What an excellent idea.The Arctic char was prepared to perfection. This is textbook execution of how to sear a fillet of fish. The crispy skin was awork of art. Best of all, it wasn?t that expensive. They could easily charge more. 10/10 would return. Read more
I haven't been to this spot in years and it did not disappoint!! Love the atmosphere with the pink blossom trees. Now to the... food, ordered the gnocchi and tempura chili prawns to start. Both were fantastic! The mains ordered were the artic char andbraised beef short rib, really happy with both. Dessert, shared the milk chocolate cheese cake and it was incredible!!! I'd goback just for that, it's so smooth and rich...one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Read more
I visited Alloy for the first time today because I am considering hosting a private event there in the fall and I wanted to... experience the place before committing. All I can say is wow! The entire experience was phenomenal but the quality of the foodand exceptional service really stood out. I ordered the salmon and it was perfect! Consistently great food and ambiance. A great birthday or any excuse to dine out experience. Our server was new to Alloy, she... was just the right amount of attentive and customer service driven. Truffle gnocchi and Shrimp tempura open up the appetite andare a regular starter item on menu. Pacific Red Snapper and Lamb Chops with rosemary & mustard sautéed onion cream sauce wereboth delicious to enjoy as main course meals. We passed on dessert. Read more
It's been several years since I've visited Alloy and I was delighted to step back into such familiar and welcome surroundings. I... recall being quite impressed with the decor when I first discovered this fine dining establishment over a decade ago. The pinkblossoms on the trees that separate the semi-circular booths create a peaceful atmosphere in which to enjoy a great meal. I washappy to find my favorite dish still being featured on their menu. The beef short rib was as delicious as ever and the porkstriploin got a 5 star rating from my friends as did the shrimp tempura. The service was great and one of the owners evenstopped by the table to say Hello. All in all a great evening! Read more
Hidden gem in Calgary! This place was a little hard to find because of the exterior but what?s on the inside really blew us... away: from the decor and atmosphere to the food. Everything we?ve ordered just tasted so good! We especially loved the tunaappetizer and potage :) there are so many pretentious fancy restaurants serving expensive food that make no gastronomic sense.Meanwhile, this place knows what it?s doing! Every creative dish is pretty and outside of the box without compromising thetaste! Note that their cheesecake is on the heavier side though. Would recommend it to anyone. Read more
