A & P Chinese Food Express has been our go to Chinese food restaurant in our neighbourhood for many years and they have never... failed to impress us with their delicious dishes. The portions are always generous and arrive on time and hot! We especiallyenjoy their crisp salt and pepper squid, ginger beef, mushroom chop suey and pineapple sweet and sour chicken, but have triednumerous other dishes from the menu and enjoyed them all. The food was TERRIBLE I ordered chow mien and special fried rice which smelled and tasted like dirty dish water both dishes had... almost no meat and no seafood in them. Just terrible. I will never order here again. Read more

Must... try Grilled Pork Dumplings, Salt and Pepper Squid, Mah-po Tofu Beef, Chicken Chow Mein, Prawns and Meat Shanghai Noodles, BeefChow Fun, Honey Garlic Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Beef with Vegetables, Ginger Chicken or Beef and Sweet and Sour ChickenBalls. Having passed by this restaurant many times, I have wondered if it's worth trying out. We gave it a chance one night. The... restaurant is exclusively take out only as there is a counter but no seating area. This works well especially during thepandemic. We wanted to try their Prawns Chow Mein and Salt and Pepper Pork Loin. We only had to wait 15 mins for our food. ThePrawns Chow Mein had crispy chow mein with plenty of veggies and prawns. The sauce was flavorful which was an issue we had withother Chinese restaurants. The Salt and Pepper Pork Loin was deep-fried battered pork pieces. The spice level was good and theflavor was tasty. We have been enjoying A&P since we received their first flyer many years ago. Almost 10 years later, it is still our go to place... for fresh and delicious food.
