I know times are tough and employees are hard to find but we really didn't enjoy our visit recently. It took 45 minutes for our... food to come out, and it was a very slow evening, only about a handful of other people there too. They had no ice for any of thedrinks And after we already paid for certain items we were told they no longer had those items and we had to sub for somethingelse. What we picked was cheaper than the original food and we weren't offered our money back. So they made quite a bit off ofus, but there was a small line behind us and we didn't want to hold it up anymore by asking for our refund since everything wastaking forever to get done. Also, half the menu was missing. I had seen the menu online and knew they had tons of other menuitems but none of the fried foods or appetizers are listed on the window.. Multiple people in line were complaining about thereonly being ice cream and sandwiches and nothing else. But someone asked and they said they had it all, but it wasn't listedanywhere. I think if times are tough then maybe simplify the menu or just serve ice cream because everyone there was prettyupset with the wait on an extremely low volume night. Also, the Mason jar milkshake was pretty watery and the chocolate waspretty weak. We may return but we're very unhappy with this first experience. Read more

Bad Milkshakes! This was our first time here. I ordered a mason jar Buckeye milkshake. I assumed it would be peanut butter... flavoured. I was then told I needed to order a flavour for the milkshake they were out of peanut butter. I ordered vanilla. WhatI got was a runny glass of milk with some small buckeye candies thrown on top and no vanilla flavour. Cost $10.00. My husbandgot the Frozen Hot Chocolate mason jar milkshake. It was just runny chocolate ice cream with some whip cream. Not worth $10.00.I came home and found a picture on their facebook page of the buckeye. Mine didn?t look anything like that one as you can see bythe pictures. We could have gotten a better milkshakes at Dairy Queen for less. Read more

Our first time at ice cream island was delicious! We got a couple corn dogs, fish sandwich, and cheese waffle fries (very good)... to eat and then a couple salted caramel shakes and a strawberry cheesecake sundae! Everything was delicious but the ice creamwas the star by far!! There are a few picnic tables there where you can sit and enjoy if you have time! Read more

A sweet place for huge variety of milkshakes in a large mason jar that costs 10-12$. They have some cool appetizers as well.... Worth the detour and extra drive . Read more

Hello and good afternoon! Thanks for taking the time to read my review! ???? This was the first time we have ever been here so... we got a few items to sample the wares! The menu today: Nutella Mason jar milkshake with a funnel cake, raspberry cheesecakeparfait, chocolate malt shake with caramel, pulled pork tots, pulled pork nachos, cheeseburger, corn dog, onion rings, and deepfried oreos. Everything overall was really good! The milkshake was a bit plain ish but it had a good flavor. It's definitely ashare size. I couldn't finish it and no one wanted to share haha you get to keep the mason jar when you are done. The daughterloved her parfait. The cheesecake was stellar on it! The funnel cakes were a smidge on the drier side. But still tasty. Maybethe cold weather cooled them down too fast so the sugar didn't have time to melt into it. Good regardless haha The pulled porkthey use is really good. I love me some basic cheese nachos with a good pulled pork! The nacho cheese was good too. Sometimesyou get some thats eh. These were pretty good. Reminds me of the movie theater nachos and i love those. Simple and delish! Theonion rings are amazing. I just wish they had a good homemade ranch to go with them besides hidden valley (yucky). That wouldjust elevate the experience to another level! ???????? The deep fried oreos were probably my favorite (next to the nachos) ofthe trip. Perfect ratio of batter to oreo. Overall, I'm extremely happy with our trip here and can't wait to visit on a nicerwarmer day! Sitting under that huge magnolia tree and chatting with the fam and trying all these different dishes was a blast!Ice Cream Island, thank you for the opportunity to eat your food! ???? and thank you, reader, for sticking with me thru thisreview! Definitely give them a try! Read more

Their menu is is diverse compared to other small ice cream stands and the size of the portions are huge for the price! So many... creative new items too. It can get busy but is totally worth the wait. Every time I?ve gone the staff was incredibly friendly.Definitely go! Read more
