I am writing this review 8 years after our meal here ? because I haven?t stopped thinking about it ever since! My husband and I... were on a road trip and hungry for lunch, so we took the nearest exit and landed ourselves at this cafe in this tiny Michigantown. It?s absolutely CHARMING inside and the staff was so kind. Morel mushrooms were in season, so we had their freshly mademorel mushroom soup? Oh, how I wish I could have a bowl of it again. The drinks were good. Food was decent. The fries were very salty and it took a long time to get the food. Staff were very nice.

Amazing food & cozy atmosphere. I was able to fill my mushroom craving & the desert delicious Compliments to the Chef.
So excited to write this review. We have traveled to many places, but have never had a REUBEN sandwich like this. IT was so... flavourful that my husband and I couldn?t stop talking about it. The attached fries were hot and plentiful. The sandwich wasgenerously layered with quality corned beef. The presentation of the food was generous and plentiful. Let me sum it up thisway. After booking online 2 days in advance, I called the day before to get an early check in. Was told my reservation was not there.... After a moment we got it figured out. Best to call instead of booking online. Soft beds and lots of space in the single queen#5. Good coffee in room as well. Read more
Went there tonight only had 2 tables of people in the restaurant. Took a long time to get appetizers and salads and over an hour... for food. 6 of us total and one steak was way over cooked and asked for mayo to go with food which we never got. My steak andbroccoli was cold. Asked for it to be warm and saw the cheif touching it with his fingers when I walked to the bathroom. No hairnets and a girl with long dark hair in the kitchen with it flowing all over. My husband side was cold also. But the waitressessaid she was waiting for the steaks to come off the grill as she was passing out the kids meals??? We were looking for a spot to have a nice lunch on the way up to Interlochen Arts Camp and we stumbled upon this place and were... happy we did. We wanted to get the kids one last good meal before a month and a half of camp for and this exceeded ourexpectations. My daughter and I split the chicken and waffles and a burger and both were great!
