Good prices, Good place, GREAT homemade whoopie pies!
I had the worst experience at this location. I went into the store and bought a round $100,00 worth of groceries and a wonderful... bottler of Johnnie Walker The lady bagging all or my groceries and my alcohol, crammed it into, two flimsy paper bags,. Soonas I picked up the bag, from her it started to rip (inside the store. When I picked up to put them in the hatch back, it ripped another 75% in the parking lot. When I got home, I opened the hatch and held that bag like a baby. 1 step later. The wholebottom ripped out. I lost my bottle of Johnnie Walker and 2-3 days of meals. I Immediately called the store to the store. TheMGR said there is nothing they can do as it happened off site. I was like it did happen on site. The bag was wet because thegirl put my two ice cream containers on the bottom and the bag sweat through. put 3 more boxes and my bottle in the bag on topof everything. . Then it ripped more in the parking lot. I mean what is $100 to Hannaford. I have all the pictures of beforeduring and after! You just lost a $400-500 customer a week. All over your employees incompetency, and a MGR not willing tolisten or help! I will be going to Standish Hannaford from now on. Me and my family will never step into this store again. Thankyou guys for not helping and not willing not to replace anything.. Totally disgusting. I hope this message gets read byeveryone in corporate. I spend at least 400 a week there, 400x52= 20, 800.00 a year over broken a broken bottle and a fewmeals. Byeeeeeee! Read more
10 minutes ago we bought their Nature's Place Plant Based Burgers. We didn't take out receipt, the cashier kept it and I'm... pretty sure threw in the trash. The patties were all moldy and they would NOT exchange them. Or let us have our receipt. We tryto only go here if we are short on time, it's nice and small. But we do not purchase their bakery items either, there have beensmall bugs in them, despite the expiration date still being good. Read more

For an independent grocery store this place is awesome! They have a great selection of all sorts of things. They even carry... things that the chain stores do not carry. Even if you're not near them I think they're worth going out of the way to stop inand check out some of their unique items. Read more
Staff are damn great!!! Produce is always fresh, and that meat department is on point???? Best steaks around in my opinion. BTW,... Janessa deserves a raise, she has an amazing work ethic and is constantly moving. Great management! Read more
They are one of the last places in Maine that carry my Russian Standard vodka. For that alone I love them. Add that to the fact... they're small, the people are friendly, the prices are good, and they haven't changed to a Hannaford's. I really adore thisgrocer. Read more
