Got to experience a great sunny day on their breakfast bar outside. Probably one of the last beautiful fall days here in Burr... Ridge. I ordered the loaded baked potato pancakes. DELICIOUS! My cousin ordered the breakfast special. Equally Delicious!Great server. Good service. Read more

It was our anniversary breakfast! I had wanted a turkey burger but they were all out so I went with the plant based burger. It... tasted burnt. My egg was cooked perfectly. The onion chips were yummy. I only ate the burger because I was hungry. My iced chailatte was delicious.my wife loved her food, a lot. Lol especially the cheesy grits. I think that was her fave. Noemi was ourserver and she was perfect. Again, the only reason for four and not five stars is my burger. Either learn how to properlyprepare a plant based burger, or take it off the menu. Read more

The wait staff were incredibly kind, and the food was amazing! I took a salted caramel latte home with me and it is just as... great as it is in the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend Read more

Very cute spot for breakfast or lunch. The menu had so many delicious sounding items. I got the southwestern salad and it was... perfect. the buffalo chicken wasn?t too much, and it was a great lunch! My friend got the red velvet french toast whichapparently are pieces of red velvet cake toasted like french toast. It was delicious, a little sweet for me, so passed on theadditional syrup! But a delicious breakfast pick if you like a sweeter breakfast! We both got speciality coffees. I got a icedblueberry muffin latte, which was just okay. My friend for an iced salaried carmel latte which felt wasn?t crazy abt it. Maybenot the best place for coffee, but food was a solid 4/5. Such friendly staff as well! Read more

It?s always great to have a new brunch option near home! Menu pricing more closely resembles downtown Chicago than the suburbs.... I tried the Hibiscus-Berry Arnold Palmer ($5 - the menu is misprinted) and their seasonal Raspberry Lemon Crepes ($14). Myhusband had the Country Skillet ($18). Eduardo pleasantly served us this morning! Read more

This was our first time at Yolk, Burr Ridge. We were looking forward to trying this new restaurant. After being sat at a dirty... table, I asked if we could sit at one of the many available OPEN booths. I was told they couldn?t seat us at a booth becausethey were ?rotating the servers and that we had to sit at that specific table?. If you?re going to charge the high breakfastprices, you should at least try accommodate the customers. This was an easy request. If it was server A?s turn, then seat thecustomer at a booth next to their section. It wasn?t far for them to walk. Tables turnover quick. Server B had plenty of otheropen tables where it wouldn?t take away from them. Or they could have said a booth is opening up in the server's section in acouple of minutes (which it did), if we could kindly wait. It was just ?No, you have to sit there without any effort to try andaccommodate. I?ve never experienced this at any restaurant before. The hostesses lacked finesse and experience. If themanager told them to do this(which they claimed) then they lack customer professionalism as well. It was just tacky. ?Thebusser did graciously clean the table and the chair and the server did a good job, but unfortunately we won?t be back. Read more

I love the look and the cleanliness of this place. It's sharp, crisp, and airy, with plenty of room between tables. Even the... menu is creative with plenty of choices. This was our first visit. It's near where we live. And where our offices are. The foodjust seemed to be a little bland. Or perhaps ordinary, despite the creativity of the menu. I gave it three stars because we willtry it again. Perhaps we just had a bad day with our taste buds. We really want to like this place and come back regularly. Justhoping the next visit gets our attention, flavor wise. The prices are at the top for breakfast. Which never bothers us. As longas the quality is there. Here's hoping our next visit brings us back for more. Read more

We tried the new Yolk location in Burr Ridge. The food was good. Prices are higher than the other breakfast and lunch places in... the area. Maybe because of the rent? Service was fine once they assigned a server, which took 15 minutes. Seemed like themanagement and host staff was less than experienced and could use some experienced help. Decor was nice. Read more
