Finally was in Burnet on a Friday to try this place. At 11 am, there was already a line out the door. Got the three meat plate... with the Brisket Mac and Cheese and Coleslaw. Everything was great including the complimentary cornbread. The Jalapeno Sausagehad a nice bite to it. I will definitely try again in the future. Read more
Wow, this Brisket is the best. We happened into this restaurant while visiting Burnet, Texas. The best possible food decision in... a long time. The brisket here is possibly the best I?ve ever had. I ordered the 2 meat plate, with sliced brisket and ribs. Iasked for moist and lean meat, and both were tender and delicious. One of the choices of sides is brisket Mac and cheese, and ofcourse I had to have some, and it was awesome. The ladies both had loaded baked potatoes and they were huge. The chocolate pecancake was great also. We visit Burnet a couple times a year, and this restaurant will definitely be on our list every time. Read more
By far the best BBQ we've had in a while. Turkey was moist, brisket was tender and the ribs fell off the bone. Their kick'n mac... and cheese was very flavorful. I would.give this place 10 stars if I could. Read more

I really enjoyed dining here. I enjoyed the layout and seating indoor and outdoor. Everything was clean and functioning. The... prices are fair for the quality and portions of food offered. The sides were excellent - in particular the potato salad. Nowfor the reason we visit barbecue joints: Graded against the best - this barbecue is definitely in the upper, but not the toptier. Primarily because the brisket was a little dry, but it did have a pleasant smoke on it. In fact, the taste and textureimproved immensely when the tabletop barbecue sauce was added. All of that being said, even though I think the barbecue at theBBQ Shake is slightly better, I would rather eat here again because of how excellent everything else is. Read more
Always said we would stop if it was open on our way through town, today was the day! The staff is great and dog friendly. The... patio with live music and fans is comfortable and clean. The BBQ is fantastic! We tried the brisket, pork ribs and jalapeñosausage. They were all moist and delicious, the rubs were right on the brisket and ribs, definitely no need for sauce. The saucethey provide in case that?s your thing is good and of course they provide the onions, pickles and bread. We will stop again nexttime we come through on the weekend! Read more
I stopped in today for a bite of lunch. You order at the counter and take your tray to the table of your choice. I enjoyed the... ribs and some brisket. Meats are sold by the pound. The ribs were delicious with lots of meat and savory spices. Their brisketwas good, moist and fork-tender. Both benefited from the slightly sweet house-made BBQ sauce.You get free beans with anyorder... they tasted good to me with just a little kick. The venue is charming with inside seating at picnic tables and outdoordining on a patio for those interested. Place was clean and efficient with friendly staff. Parking is adequate but therestaurant is only open on weekends!! Read more
What a Pleasent surprise. I had the brisket & ribs plate w/ beans and slaw. Everything about the meal and the restaurant was... great. Big portions and the sauce was a unique combination of a little sweet with a peppery finish. Great meal. Good folks. Read more
