Well made takeout sushi. Everything tasted good. Definitely not gourmet or anything but solid for a takeout sushi dinner. A... highlight was the soy paper salmon maki which is a fun alternative to seaweed wrappers. Read more

We regularly order from here and the food is always good. They accommodate our food allergies and are super friendly people. The... energy roll is our fave! Yum! Read more

This used to be my go to sushi place, but haven't been in about a year. I feel like the quality of their food has gone down.its... not as good as I remember it. Either that or ive just found even better places since then Read more

The rolls here are always made extremely well. Their price points are super reasonable especially when compared to bigger chains... such as Sushi Cali. 10 out of 10 times I would eat here over Sushi Cali. Read more

Ordered the beef teriyaki bento & salmon nigiri for take out and it was a mix of highs and lows. In the bento, the tempura was... fantastic but the pre-made beef was basically beef jerkey as it was so dry and tough with some dry spots. I could barely chewit. The avocado in the California rolls were brown, and the crab mixture didn't taste fresh. The salmon nigiri was great. Iguess its a hit or miss hoping that you to on a day when they have fresh ingredients. Read more

Ok, so I?ve held off on visiting Y Sushi for a very long time. Why? Well, I?ve heard many mixed reviews of the place and, to be... honest, life is too short for bad sushi. Still, I found myself looking for some new sushi spot around the Edmonds area Ifigured that I might as well try Y Sushi out for myself to see how they stacked up. I visited in late February and found thatthe interior was quite cold (even though I was sitting next to a space heater). I started out with the BBQ Salmon Kama and Head($4.50) as I usually find this is a good indicator of how the rest of the meal will turn out. Usually when I order kama, youjust get the fish collar ? so I was a bit intrigued that they serve this with the head. Honestly not sure if they serve it thisway because they?re too lazy to separate the head from the collar but it didn?t turn out too bad. There were plenty of meatybits (along with an eyeball ? which I didn?t eat) but I can see why it?s not ordered more often. I think I do prefer just thekama by itself. I also ordered the Oshi Aburi Sushi Salmon ($12.95). I found this to be a very creamy dish (particularly fromthe avocado in the middle) but thought that they used a bit too much rice and the flavour of the sauce seemed a bitoff. Overall, the service seemed kind of slow considering how quiet it was. I?ve definitely had better (and worse) sushi itemselsewhere and probably wouldn?t go out of my way to revisit. Read more

Service was okay (there were only two groups and a few takeouts). Considering that it was not packed, I suspect service can be... slow with more customers, as I only saw one sushi chef and one waiter. We ordered the lunch specials, which was choice of 3 or 2items that included appetizers, teriyaki, and rolls. Lunch special also come with miso soup. Rolls was decent, but nothing towrite home about. Very decent sushi and atmosphere. We ordered the toro battera, Edmond roll, and seafood tempera. The tempera wasn?t as crispy as... I expected because I?ve had better ones. Stay with their special rolls! Read more
