This is a place connected to The One restaurant. Genius owners. Not only good chefs but they have good business minds. When we... first entered the premise, we were in the dripping rain. Nobody opened the door. In fact, nobody was even at the desk. It was abad first impression. We had to get a friend to open it for us. Furthermore, when we got in, we rung the desk for the staff tocome. We waited but nobody came. We just went in to the room our friends were in. The windows weren't tinted like other placesso it's a bit awkward. After a few songs, the staff finally came. That was a solid 15 minutes. At the least! The aestheticshowever, was beautiful. Stunning. The LED lights were changing gradient colors while there was a desk with an imprint of a lionilluminated by a light underneath. The controls were nice and smooth. But there was some nasty feedback from time to time. There's also the menu but we didn't order from it. Overall, I like The One better, but if you like singing, hey- it'sconvenient and close by. Some of the 1 star reviews here are out of order but this place is definitely not for everyone. If you can read Chinese it is... probably more suited to you. As an English karaoke user I'm OK with going to places where I am not the main clientele buthonestly the computer system here is not really well set up for English - putting aside the fact that the system is in Chinese, you can't even search by song and the names of the artists are cut off at 10 characters or something. You kind of have to guesswhich artist JENNIFER is or whatever. ok so - the staff were nice and the rates are decent but they don't have a liquor licensedespite what the signs and website imply. I feel like that's kind of misleading. If you are OK with singing at a downmarketplace without drinking I would recommend Galchae which is nearby and which has a slightly better computer system and Englishselection. The plus side to this place is that you can order Chinese food and bubble tea from a fairly extensive menu. Read more

The karaoke machine is only in Chinese and had poor selection of non-Chinese songs. I noticed that most of the Korean song... titles were pure gibberish and some of the songs had vocals throughout the whole song. The attendant taught me how to use themachine which was nice of him but it was still very laggy and confusing. Also there is a semi-mandatory tip they put on yourbill regardless of how many people are going. Read more

The karaoke machine and TV cut out on us on four separate occasions, the feedback from the microphone was terrible. They get... two stars because the guy seemed really apologetic and gave us a discount. I'm sure it wasn't his fault and he didn't know howto fix it other than rebooting the system every single time. Touch screen system was only on Chinese. The room was lined with a glossy hard plastic that made the room look nice but made the... microphone feedback horrendous. The karaoke machine would need a reboot after 15~20 songs it seems like, that would reset allthe volume and microphone to max output Read more

we left the room right after the 1hr mark. there's no attendant in the front, have to buzz for their attention. attendant takes... forever to respond. I'm pretty sure we were charged for the time waiting to pay. songs/artist titles aren't in alphabeticalorder so spent a lot of time just searching. choose a different place instead of this one. Room is dusty and carpet is dirty. No service at all after bell rang for over 10 minutes. The music system is too old, mic has... lot of echo and feedback, almost cannot use the two mics at the same time. Music cut off suddenly. Read more

System almost impossible to understand, missing songs you'd find at almost every karaoke place, lost video feed partway through... so no lyrics. Read more
