The food is great! The BC rolls are fantastic with rich, fatty skin that has been crisped to perfection. Everything that came to... our table looked, smelled, and tasted amazing! The choose 3 items combo is an incredible value. The downside is that servicewas slow. The first part of our meals came out and then there was a lengthy wait for the remainder. Quite decent, more like a 3.5?? Taste is okay, not amazing but not horrible. They have a very large menu, and also korean... dishes. The items I ordered tasted good but not amazing, kinda what I expected for the price! Also service here is quitepoor. It's a solid sushi restaurant near Metro, but definitely not on the top of my list if I want sushi near Metro. The sushi itself was pretty tasty and seemed pretty fresh and looks rad aesthetically. However, the miso soup was unfortunately... really overly-salty and tasted very processed or from a sachet. The staff are super friendly and very nice. I hope it's only dueto COVID that they give you cheap disposable chopsticks and sachets of soy sauce as it feels more like a takeout which is notwhat you expect when dining in. The huge bummer for me about this joint was the absurdly disgusting stench of cigarettes whengoing to the restroom which makes me very nervous about their hygiene standards and practice.
