Review for tiffin service -- Vegetarian, healthy (the right amount of oil and spices), homely and delicious food. Prompt... response to queries and on-time delivery at your door steps. Plus, food is cooked on the temple premises using temple-backyardProduce. Folks (Friends of Lord Krishna) at Govinda's dining are putting in a lot of hard work to make this tiifn serviceavailable. Appreciate their time and efforts. Highly recommend. Read more

We had a couple of appointments in the Lower Mainland today, and had lunch at ISKCON Vancouver (Hare Krishna Temple) in Burnaby.... Govindas is located on the grounds of the temple, surrounded by a peaceful landscape. The restaurant offers vegetarian/veganfood, and they use organic ingredients grown on the grounds. The Indian thali selections were delicious, and the staff were sokind, gentle, and welcoming. The food is blessed before serving, and made with ?love and devotion.? We were transported awayfrom our city lives, yet steps away from Marine Drive. We felt grateful for this nourishing food, and for the people who grewit, cooked it, and served it. Thank you. ???????? A unique experience in terms of dining. One important thing to note first and foremost is that the restaurant no longer serves... all you can eat for one price due to COVID-19. This is just to clarify for anyone who wants to pay one price and eat untilfull. There is no longer a buffet style all you can eat. I was a bit confused at first expecting a self serve style buffethowever upon arrival, that was no longer the case. The atmosphere here is peaceful and quiet, nicely tucked away in a thickforestry area along Marine Drive in South Burnaby. It is situated on an Hindu Temple ground - serving religion oriented food andphilosophy. The restaurant does not have a set menu, but rather serves omakase style - meaning the chef changes up the menu ona daily basis. For approximately $15, one can expect a very hearty and ample lunch thali - all ingredients grown right on thetemple ground's own organic food garden. Great value and healthy. The cooking is light - but I prefer to use the word 'Gentle'.Light on fat, seasoning and zero processed ingredients. All made with much love. It is a meal fit for Gods and commonersalike. The community and people working here are simply amazing and kind. Come here to nourish your tummy - but even moreimportantly, to nourish your soul. Read more

Temple environment was healthy with lots of greenery and banana trees. I also had lunch at Govindas which was approx. $15 per... Thali. It is not fair for me if I comment on the quality and quantity of the food as it was prasadam. Read more

Loved dining at Govinda's. The price is very reasonable given the fact that their buffets are all you can eat. The food tasted... great. They have really redone the entire place. It's got a very cozy vibe and a nice ambience. It's very clean and the tablesare senatized frequently. The redone patio is really cool too and is a welcome addition. Read more
