I?m surprised to only see one staff doing everything. The drink I ordered was good and the staff was nice.
Staffs = 5 of 5 Taste = varies... really varies but overall 3.5 I tried green tea slush machiato and it was really soso. I would... give it 1 of 5. I tried the purple passion dragon tea, and it was probably the best. This one would be 4 of 5. I tried the brownsugar pearl roasted milk tea. The tea itself was pretty decent but the pearls did not seem to be brown sugar pearls but regularpearls. Maybe I'm wrong but the pearls did not have the richness of brown pearls. Hence 4 of 5. Friendly staff, great drink. A little too much boba in the drink.
I work here and have been doing so for some time, and I choose to remain anonymous because what I am about to say can... potentially get me in a lot of trouble with the company. There are many issues with the administration and the ownership ofthis location and all of their sister locations scattered around the Lower Mainland. Recently HR has decided to stop hiringdespite our location being understaffed. With many people leaving or taking time off within the coming weeks, we are becomingmore and more understaffed yet instead of trying to fix that issue, they are requesting more out of us. On top of that, theowner has been trying to minimize labour costs. Frequently you will come in and see a person working on their own, balancingthree different positions at once. A lot of the new hires have been given an inadequate amount of training because storemanagers have been told to schedule less training shifts in order to lower the labour cost. They expect the most out of us, yetpay us so little; I have seen weeks where store managers have worked all seven days due to the lack of staff they haveavailable. The floor staff often take the blame for all these poor reviews, and the company refers to the store manager foreverything. There are many customers and delivery drivers who also have a sense of entitlement upon entering the store. Iassure you, we are always trying to ensure you are satisfied with your drink. There are a lot of company policies that we areinstructed to follow and often we cannot do anything about them. We ask customers to be patient, yet time and time again, we getasked if their drink is ready. I assure you that when your drink is ready, your name or order number will be called. If we donot call upon you, or if you do not see your drinks ready, do not hover around where we serve the drinks and ask us if they'reready.
