I had a large #27. Great tasty meat and fresh veggies with a good spice kick from the chipotle. I got my sandwich really fast... as well which is great. My only dislike for the food itself is the bread, which is kinda dry and tough. Price wise, it?s alittle on the expensive side, my order came out to almost $17 for one large sandwich and nothing else. Pair that with a drinkand a bag of chips and you?re over $20 easily. At least the serving size was sufficient to fill me up completely. For a dine inexperience, I?d say go somewhere else, or take your sandwich to go. Review based on multiple experience. Always loved this place. Really good dense sandwiches. Their variety and meat quality is... regularly quite nice. Unfortunately the most recent time I've gone I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and it wasn't quite up totheir usual par. Sizeable bone chunks were sitting in the room temperature congealed meat. The sandwiches here are good. Nothing spectacular. They are filling though, so that's a bonus. They don't want you tos Tay long... hence no wifi and the seating is metal chairs. Not the most welcoming either. Just another sandwich shop that comes with abigger price tag. Read more
They have significantly shrunk the size of their sandwiches. We ordered recently and noticed that compared to before sandwiches... are only 3.5" long. When we reached out the company said this is normal but we remember them being much longer in the past. Nowis a lot tougher to justify spending 15 on a sandwich and we haven't been back since. Ok I didn't think I could love this place any more than I already do. Then I find this awesome sandwich I never tried before and... they make a Miley Cyrus reference when labeling my Sammie! Hilarious! Seriously best sandwiches and the best staff I've everseen, super friendly genuinely awesome folks making delicious massive "always hearty" sandwiches! Always got a big smile onwhenever I eat here and now even when skip or door dash brings it to me they still making me smile... Much love sandwich pals!Seriously eat here I'm not joking... It was my first time at this sandwich place, very clean, simple but nicely decorated and designed. Very friendly and informative... employees, I asked for suggestions which sandwich to choose, and after I got #27 amazingly delicious, fresh ingredients,chipotle sauce, which gives you a nice spicy flavor, and crunchiness from crispy onions took to another level of awesomeness.Definitely should try. Wow for a hearty and filling sandwich - you need to order from big star! I got the Number 27 - roast beef, provolone, crispy... onions, lettuce, tomato, onions, sriracha mayonnaise and garlic aioli and it did not disappoint. I can?t speak for the interioror service as someone else picked up my food but wow was it delicious! It was difficult choosing which one to get as the menu isquite expansive but I like how they section it off by types (roast beef/turkey/vegetarian/deli cuts/pork/etc). Easily one of myfavourite subs.
