Interesting local spot. Stopped in to watch some of the champions league final. Limited drink selection but overall friendly... place, especially if you are a regular. Dart board and pool table along with some nice outdoor space. One note if you go for amagners it's a 20 ounce bottle. Read more
TRuggs is an excellent local dive bar. They offer a superb staff, really cheap drinks, and a nice outdoor space. On top of that... they also have a jukebox, free pool, darts, and a plethora of board games to really help round everything out. Definitely one ofmy favorite places in town and one I would highly recommend to anyone! Read more

Great local dive bar that was very accommodating to outsiders. The bartender was very friendly and willing to introduce you to... others at the bar with similar interests (or could answer your questions about Burlington!) The crowd is great as well. It'sprobably the first bar I've seen play cribbage on the regular, if you're interested. Prices were pretty reasonable, even if youwere getting a Philly-style citywide. (I was glad to see Dewer's for that.) They also had a great tap selection of Vermont beersbeyond what you'd expect a typical local bar. Honestly, I was happy to see hockey always being played there. There's also adeck available if the weather is better. Although, with the weather I was experiencing I didn't get to use it. A great time! Read more
We were here from out of town wanted to go to a local bar because we didn?t like all of the craziness of downtown, my husband... was refused service after having nothing to drink prior. They threw him out just because the bartender didnt like look of him. He is a clean-shaven well-dressed disabled combat veteran. But because the bartender obviously was intimidated by him, I?m notexactly sure, but he was refuse service. The one and only time that has ever happened to him and his entire life. This place isa dump and that bartender should be ashamed of himself!! We?ve never been more embarrassed. Read more
I have had the pleasure of helping the bartenders close down at night. Have been a patron of this bar for 25 years . Awesome... atmosphere, good people and great prices. Will continue to be here unless we move out of Vermont. Love this place , becausethe bartenders take no guff from anyone . Safe place to go. Read more
