I went to this place for lunch during my visit in Vermont. The resturent got a very good atmosphere and ambience. Most of the... food options are seafood. I ordered clam chowder and calamari for appetizer, and fish for main dish. The food tastes is notreally great. I would say they need to improve a lot on tastes for keep customer. What a cool experience!! Shanty on the Shore is located next to the water, with a beautiful view on the water. The service was... great and quick and the food was delicious. We ordered the Lobster bisque in the Bread bowl, the Seafood platter with mac andcheese and the fish tacos. Everything was savoury and fresh, they truly know how to do seafood!!! Had the famous, and delicious, fish and chips. Delighted to have curly fries! Also had the lobster bisque, yummy. Drank the... thirst quenching ice tea. Loved the nautical atmosphere.
