We ordered 2 chicken festive dinners and 1 roast beef festive dinner. Food was great but the roast beef dinner had no... horseradish or stuffing that was advertised as being included. Edit: strike #4 today I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with white bread and I got whole wheat with a piece of chicken breast... that wasn't even cut up like they normally do it. Guess I'll need to switch to a different location... I love Swiss chalet butthis location needs to pay more attention to the details. Last three times I ordered there was always something missing and thatreally made the meal less than it should have been and the reason I keep going to Swiss Chalet. One meal I ordered the 1/4chicken white meat and got dark meat. Following time I ordered 1/4 chicken with pierogies and Cajun sauce. No Cajun sauce withthe order. Yesterday I ordered the hat chicken sandwich that comes with gravy and couldn't wait to get home to devour it only tofind out that instead of gravy I got the chalet sauce ( sorry SC but I cannot stand even the smell of it!!). Such disappointmentand too far to go back for gravy. Had to eat my sandwich dry... These are not huge deals but they do ruin your meal so it wouldbe nice if they would pay more attention to the details. Read more

We order Swiss Chalet fairly regularly. We have had two complaints. One was about rice where the container was less than half... full. It was handled beautifully and I was given a credit, which I used. The last one was about paying for, but not receiving,extra Chalet sauce. We pick up our order. The server picked up a small bag that I felt might be the extra sauce, then said"No, everything is in your large bag." I felt I should check but that seemed distrustful of her. This seems a very small error,but my grandson specifically asks for extra sauce and was so disappointed not to have it. We called right away about it ("couldyou come back?" but it was too far). I sent out an e-mail providing feedback, then another e-mail, then this last one when Iwas asked to rate resolution. Too bad as Swiss Chalet is a lovely eat-in family dinner for us. Read more

Chicken and sauce was fine but fries were substandard - edible, but only just so. Also had parodiesand they were nice. UPDATE: I received a reply to this review from Swiss Chalet asking me to fill out a form giving email,telephone, etc., including dates and the bill number. Who keeps those types of bills? Without all that data, you cannot submitthe form. What I had hoped for was some indication they planned to improve quality control and staff training to avoid futuremistakes. Had the half chicken dinner. Cook times are too long. I am sure many will agree. I know about safe temperature readings but when... the dark meat is dry ? Too long cooking. Meal was still good but it could be perfect. Pepsi is better than all bars. Read more

It's actually more like a 3.5. The waiter came back 3 times to clarify an order, which was pretty bad. The fries were cold. ... But the main part of the dish was good. It's Swiss Chalet - you know what you're getting. And the staff was friendly (wellexcept the person who seated us). Read more
