I regret to actually mention this as a review as I never thought I would have such an unsatisfactory experience ordering from an... Indian restaurant in Canada.Honestly,in one word, the food was disappointing.Ordered Chilli chicken gravy and hakka fried ricefor a small party for my son’s birthday.I called for order and the guy was actually helpful. He made sensible suggestions andwhen I told him the party was for little less than 10 ppl,he told me how about bulk order for 15 people than ordering 5 or 6 ofthem separately & save on the price & I accepted his offer.I repeatedly asked him if the food would be good and told him sinceits only a few ppl gathering I wanted the food to be the best & it was my first time ordering from there. He assured meeverything and finally my food arrived. My friend who picked up the order brought in the food and his first comment was ‘Idon’t think this is for 15 ppl,I wonder if it got messed up with someone else’s order, and as I opened I realized what he wastalking about. It was not even enough to serve the 6 people that only turned up to the party and as a blessing in disguise,Ihadn’t had to worry at all as no one hardly liked it and barely had enough, which saved me from running out of food. The hakkafried rice simple tasted so bitter and bland with no flavours. The chilli chicken I would say was simply too much ketchup andsalty vinegar tasting and was watery.Chicken did not feel fresh and I was embarrassed hearing one of my guests saying it smelledbad. I would say the only saving grace was the gulab jamun which was spot on. I am sorry I had to explain all this but I wouldmake sure I never ever make the mistake of ordering back from here again as I was left so humiliated in front of my guests whoactually were nice to me to at least have had some of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if people left similar comments & I did gothrough few that shared the similar experience. This is a heartfelt & sincere review I made honestly and I hope Read more

I have been ordering food from this place for quite sometime. It used to be decent before. However, last week I had ordered lamb... curry and it was horrible. I don’t whether their chef changed or what happened, but the curry was such that I had to throw itin the dustbin. The onions were not cooked properly, the tomatoes were sluggish and the curry reeked a weird smell. The worstpart, the mutton felt as it was boiled and had literally no favour in it. I wanted to give a 1 star but just for old times, I amgiving 3 stars. I am never going to ordered any curries from here again. Read more

Not your typical Indian takeout place with pre-cooked food, this place is actually good. The restaurant is located close to... Ikea Burlington, and we visited this place to get dinner takeout and some snacks. Ordered Fish Tikka, Tandoori Chaap, PaneerTikka and Chicken Tikka Trio. All the starters were amazing, made fresh and you can tell when you take the first bit, extremelyflavourful. The shikanji is refreshing as well. We also got Chicken Tikka curry and Kadhai Paneer with Naan, and those were abit strong flavoured but still way better than many other Indian places I have been to. Definitely would return to this placeeverytime I am in Burglinton. Thanks for the great job with the food. Read more

We ordered lunch here last week for the first time. It was delicious! The butter chicken pasta dish was huge, had quite a kick... (I'm not the best with spicy food) but I could still eat it. Lots of sauce and great taste. I also tried the crispy cornbaskets. Had no idea what they would be like, but I love corn so, why not? They were also delicious and so different! Crunchybottom layer with corn and maybe onions, possibly tamarind sauce and crunchy noodle like topping. I really have no idea but theywere delish and I would absolutely get them again! Try it if you like Indian/Hakka food. We will be back. Read more

Loved the food here and the overall atmosphere. Everything was fairly priced and even the sweets tasted good too. Staff was... friendly and there was plenty of parking outside. Only issue I had is the wait time, they’ll tell you a time and it’ll endup being way longer. We were told it’d be ready in 30, took about 50. Overall, i’d definitely recommend giving them a try. I’ve been there two times, once before Pandemic (Dine-in) and one time was after pandemic (Take-out). If you see with the... Value for money factor, this restaurant is not bad at all. I wish they could have more space inside so more people can dine insince there only 3-4 table available but I guess they have no other choices either. Shikanji my favorite item and I am sureeveryone might like it. For the mains, I think they are good at some dishes while average or below the bar at some dishes.Defiantly it is hang out place for bachelors but it’s hard to imagine this place with full grown big family. Although it hasquite more than enough parking spaces as always. Read more
