Very disappointing AYCE. Really enjoyed the general Tao on an impromptu lunch visit so thought I’d try AYCE for someone’s... birthday. For $40 per person it must be pretty good right? Very poor portions of fish arrived on our rolls. The sushi/sashiminever even arrived. Hand rolls stuffed with so much plain dry sticky rice they were hard to swallow. Nothing resembled thegorgeous images on the menu. It was a Sunday but that’s no excuse. I could go on but I won’t. Read more

One of the very best sushi restaurants in Burlington. Great food, wonderful owner and staff. During covid, they've been open... only for pickup, but their dine in experience is superb too. Read more

We had heard about this place and decided to try a takeout and ordered online for a specific pickup time. When went to pickup... they did not have the food ready and in fact asked if we had ordered online and had to look up the order. We had to wait forthem to prepare the food (20 minutes). We admit that they did offer a small discount on the cost of the food because we had towait. When we got it home to eat it was of reasonable quality, but not the best. There was too much sticky rice around the Sushiordered and the so called fresh Sushi tasted a bit off. We have had better Sushi at other local Restaurants. We might try theseguys again, but their prices are a bit too high and if they are as disorganized as this first time we will never come back. Read more

Takeout presentation was nice and food was prepped and available fast but there are a lot better low/mid quality sushi options... available in Burlington. This rice was over seasoned, over cooked and pressed too hard it both looked and tasted like maki youmight buy from a fridge at a grocery store. Salmon and tuna both had a really fishy flavor that made me a little uneasyconsidering it’s raw. I’ve had much better experiences with Imi sushi, August 8 and sushi Asano, and even the mall foodcourtfor takeout!! Read more

My family and I are excited that they’re back and running again. The service was nice; they were attentive and always polite.... The sushi was really good as was the sashimi. The side dishes were really good as well - but only for our first round. After thefirst round of orders the side dishes were inconsistent, some were really good while others were bland and somewhat lacking inflavour. Overall it was good but I would have loved more consistency with non sushi items. Read more
