Had the worst customer service experience ordering a traditional DQ birthday cake. I placed my order with all the details online... 4 days in advance. I uploaded a high resolution picture for the decoration and received an automatic confirmation that all wasin order. When I picked up the cake, first, the manager brought me two pieces of paper with different customer details (whichshould be confidential information) and asked me to pick which one was mine. Once I picked it, she charged me. She then broughtout the cake which was missing the picture I had uploaded (not to mention the quality of the icing and writing was atrocious -smudged, inconsistent, messy...). She told me there was no image uploaded. Then she took me into her back office to show me heremail with the order confirmation that showed that the image didn't come through. She then said I wasn't the only order that hadthis issue and showed me other orders, then said it was a problem with their "new system". She said if I wanted to send her thepicture right then she could try making it again but didn't commit to doing it that day...on the day I needed the cake for aparty. When I indicated that I placed the order 4 days earlier and she could have called me, she said they were "too busy" tocall customers. She then proceeded to tell me I had asked for too much writing and the picture would not have fit any way. Sheargued with me that they don't have time to contact customers. She did not apologize nor offer any discount or concession forthe issue. Read more

Worst experience and customer service ever! The manager was rude and seemed like she was having a power trip. Her employee... behaved really well and also offered a discount however during billing the manager said rudely, ?I am above him. He may haveoffered you the discount but I am cancelling it because there is no good reason?. Never coming back! DQ needs to teach theirmanagers on how to treat their customers respectfully. What a disappointment! Read more

My order was mixed up at the drive threw. Said something then. I parked my vehicle then went inside. I stood there for ten... minutes before anyone acknowledged me then they finally fix my order. This restaurant needs more management on site very poorcustomer service. Felt like I was putting them out after My order. For a new diary queen site very poor customer service. Willnot be going back I will be telling people not about the service and not to go there. Read more

I usually go to the Waterdown location but I was close to this Appleby location on Friday evening, ordered the triple chocolate... brownie, what a complete joke, I should have taken a pic. The ice cream was about about 2 inches high and the whip cream wasthis splat on my brownie, I actually had to ask 3 times for more chocolate sauce. This location is an embarrassment to DairyQueen, they should be embarrassed to serve the garbage I was sold tonight. I really should have asked for a manager, but trustme I will NEVER go to this location again, $7.90 WASTED. To sum up this location GARBAGE, trust me if you go the Waterdownlocation or any other location you?ll probably never visit this place ever again Read more

Been to this location 3 times and was disappointed 3 times. Tried to give it a chance because sometimes things happen. However,... turns out this specific location regardless of the time just disappoints. My most notable experience was when I bought a bananasplit and the ice cream was full melted when it was handed to me. I told the girl at the window that it?s melted and issomething wrong with the machine. She takes it goes tell whom I assume is a supervisor or someone. The lady comes to the windowhands it back to me and explains that?s how it?s supposed to be they all come like that. I?ve been to many DQs and I?ve neverbeen told watery melted ice cream is how ice cream is supposed to be. Honestly, whomever runs this location needs to look intosomething. Who knows maybe I?m just unlucky. Read more

I love Dairy Queen! They have the best ice creams. Today i ordered for a 10 inch regular DQ ice cream cake with vanilla,... Chocolate and cookie dough. Absolutely delicious stuff. The last time I had one was during father?s day. This DQ store is a greatplace to go because of very friendly staff and fast service. I also like the chicken strips and fries. The pricing is good. There is lots of parking outside and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Very busy in the evenings because if the drive through. Read more

I went there last night and ordered a blizzard, pecan mudslide and a dipped cone. I live about 5 minutes away. It was not hot... last night. My ice cream melted badly and became a messy affair. My cone completely crumbled. Clearly, there was something wrongwith the ice cream as it was too soft. This has never happened before at other DQs. Read more

Working the drive-through at this location requires a lot of experience in the summer time people ordering ice cream and... blizzards want to be in-and-out of there quickly trying to train somebody on the drive-through during Post dinner rush fordessert is not a good idea. Need to have people assigned to station and not running all over the place. Read more
