This place is underrated. For fast-food Chinese, they are great! There should be a lineup out the door here at lunchtime, but... with hardly anyone working in the nearby offices now, they are receiving as many customers as they used to. When you have acraving for Chinese food at lunch in this area, give them a try. My personal favourite is their Szechuan chicken. Lunchspecials come with fried rice, but you can request steamed white rice instead if you prefer. You could also request noodles,(might have a nominal charge for noodles). All made to order. The meals are packaged in plastic containers, which can be takenhome and reused, (free Tupperware). Prices are reasonable and a lunch special is more than enough for one person. Read more
We have been ordering from China Star for years and always enjoyed it. Tonight, we were given the wrong noodles, the spring... rolls had an odd flavour we didn?t recognize and we know that Szechuan shrimp is spicy but this was not edible by any of myfamily?. it went into the trash. Time to look for a new Chinese take out place. Read more
They changed their chicken within the last couple weeks. I've gone here for years but I won't return unless they change it back.... Tastes old and stale, and the sauce seemed poured on after instead of cooked on. Read more
