Reviews for Charminar Indian Cuisine | Burlington in Burlington, ON
We have been twice there in past one week. Reason? Ambience was good, hospitality and service was great, food was awesome. We... had the best schezwan fried rice here since we have come to Canada. It felt just like home. Kids loved the Dosa and biriyani isno less in taste. My wife drinks coffee right off the stove and she did ask for the hottest they can give. And she did receiveit to her taste and warmth. We are gonna be a regulars here for sure. Read more
We had been to this restaurant today for first time and we had Guntur Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, Pachi mirchi Paneer Biryani,... Chilli and agarlic Naan and Egg Biryani.. Panget tikka masala and Amaravathi curry All Items were very tasty and had good spicy. The Amaravathi curry was said Spicy but it's not at all spicy rather little sweet. Bearing that rest items we had enjoyed. Theservice is fast and bear in mind the Biryani (Regular) is good for two. So if any one planning to have Biryani and others youmay end up packing home. The Egg Biryani felt to be more. Overall we liked it and will make another visit. Loved it. Wish theyalso Open branch in Buffalo at Niagara falls.so we will have short drive ???? Keep up the same food quality.. Read more
Great customer service, and tasty food. I have been to other Charminar location 100 times I guess, and when I find out about... Charminar in Burlington, Trust me I was so happy that now I don’t need to drive to Scarborough just to have paneer Biriyani.Overall it was good experience. 4 star because the amount of sambhar they gave me with my dosa was laughable. I immediately hadto order additional bowl of Sambhaar. And My hakka noodles were more like salt, pepper and noodles rather than having hakka/wokeflavour. Little bit to improvise and it’s gona be amazing food place. Read more
We have been going to Charminar Burlington for a while now, primarily because they serve best chicken appetizers in nearby areas... and secondly because the place is run by honest & hardworking folks who are always welcoming and accommodating to ourneeds. Sorry about the picture quality as I am not good with the camera, it is Guntur chicken, my favourite appetizer dish atthis place. There are many more such options if you love spicy food to pair with your drink or milder dishes to go easy on yourtastebuds. ???? The menu also have plenty of tray options to chose from to take care of your friends & family gatherings andthe best part is they are are pretty nice to adjust as per your requirement. Do give them a try and trust me, you won’t bedisappointed. Read more
I remember one night i was craving for indian food and found this place. They were about close but still were able to make fried... rice for me. Those fried rice were simply awesome and since then i am their regular customer. This restaurant has the bestindian food that i have tried in Burlington. Chicken biryani, Gobi Manchurian, Channa masala, Chicken tikka kabaab, Chicken 65are some of my favourites. We also catered the food for the Christmas dinner and everyone just loved it. The quantity given wasenough as well. I have met the owners too and they are really humble and down to earth. They go above and beyond to provide anexcellent customer service experience. Overall, i have had a very satisfying experience with them. Read more
Poor quality food. I placed a delivery order for lamb curry and I got a container full of oil and some lamb pieces!!! My... question is are you selling food or oil? Do you want your customers to enjoy the food or instead have health problems? Wish Icould put 0/5 stars. Would never recommend this restaurant!! Pictures of the curry attached for the viewers. We were here on a Saturday evening with some friends. The closing time was 9:30 pm we were here at 9pm. We ordered the mango... lassi, karivepaku chicken, sambar idli, babai idli and the boneless mutton roast. To start off the mango lassi was so yogurtyand it had a sour taste to it. The karivepaku chicken was ok not as great as the missisauga which is much better. The sambaridli was so bad we had to send it back since the sambhar had a weird taste to it much like it’s spoiled. The babai idli wasokay since it was not mixed with the sambhar we had it with chutney. The mutton roast was on the average side as the piece wasvery chewy there were about 5 pieces with 80% of the plate with veggies. For the main course we ordered the pachimirchi kodibiryani and the gongura mutton biryani. The pachimirchi biryani was nothing like the missisauga location. It’s like chickenpalau mixed with chicken pieces which were really dry. The biryani has so many pieces that there was no rice enough for all 4 ofus. The gongura mutton biryani was the opposite. It had only rice and no pieces. We are usually big fans of Charminar at themissisauga location but really disappointed in the food quality at Burlington no doubt we will not be coming back any time soon. Read more
Bless the chef’s hands! My 5 year old son ate any Indian food for the FIRST time and he loved the CRUNCHY mini dosa so much... that he ate almost all of it. I am in tears. That’s the BIGGEST appreciation for you guys! All the other food that we orderedwere awesome too!! We liked the mutton soup, the chicken 65, the Mutton biriyani… even the madras coffee was made toperfection. We have not had this nice biriyani outside India for a very long time and that includes 3 other countries other thanIndia. The service was great and we were treated in a very nice way. We will go back again to this restaurant. Read more
