Reviews for San Marcos Mexican Restaurant in Burlington, NC
Great food and exceptional service when visited by Myself and family on a busy Saturday night. Our server was Johanna who... handled us efficiently while also having multiple other small tables and a large 12 person party. Read more
The food was really just your average Mexican food. However they severely limit your salsa by bringing it in tiny bowls. We had... over half of our chips left and were never able to get a salsa refill despite asking. The prices are very high for what you aregetting. The atmosphere was very nice but the food was very overpriced and just ok. Read more
Upon arrival this establishment is definitely pleasing to the untrained eye. The crew there are a lively bunch and very... attentive to the guests needs. After ordering, the food is prepared and at you're table with haste. The plating at San Marcosis exceptional, however the when the bill arrives you will be in for quite a SHOCK! To say the least, San Marcos is very proudof there cuisine! My deal breaker at San Marcos was... They had no " Valentina"!!!!! How dare they??? Read more
Let me start by saying that I never complain about my restaurant experiences . I have had several good meals and service's there... , but today was by far the worst service and food that I have ever experienced in San Marcos Restaurant. My plate was 25 minutesbehind my other 2 guest . My chicken was over cooked because of the time . My one guest ordered 3 tacos, and they had nolettuce or tomatoes. They charged .75 for the extras. They did take the tacos off the bill , but I was very disappointed withthe meal. I will never return to this restaurant. GM. Read more

Three pieces of elotes corn went from 5.99 to 10.50 such a huge price increase for somecorn. Can?t afford to return here anymore. All prices have drastically increased. Read more
Good Mexican restaurant in Burlington area. Service was on point, staff here was quick with any requests and stayed ahead on... keeping chips and drinks refilled. Restaurant was kept super clean as well. Food was pretty good, it wasn't the best I'd hadbut was still good and worth the visit. Portion sizes were a good size and came out fast. Pricing was high and really this wasthe only down side, plates on average were all over $15 a head...about $4 more than it should have been so it adds up if you'retaking a family of 4 or more. For my family of 3 we were at $70 for nachos, fajitas, and an ACP with 2 waters and a beer. Read more
Stopped in and was quite pleased. The atmosphere was spacious but cozy and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
Very mediocre food. I ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajita plate. It had very big veggies that we not even edible... because they were hardly cooked and I wanted cooked fonts style veggies. There was a TON, and I mean a TON, of rice compared toeverything else. I hardly had ANY meat. 4 tiny shrimp 4 pieces of small very thinly sliced steak, and 4 small very thinly slicedchicken. Paid $18 and change out of pocket and I wouldn?t go back here if someone paid me. I want meat not rice for almost $20 Read more
