Excellent service from waitress and staff, including when we had to adjust our reservation on the day of our date night. Food... was good, and the only thing that might have been done better was the olive oil dip for our bread tasted off for some reason. Itwas also a bit loud while we were there, so it can be hard to hear people you're sitting with. Otherwise a great restaurant, andpotentially a good choice for date nights, or entertaining visiting family, etc. Read more
Came recently to celebrate a friend's birthday with his family. Our waitress was really nice and the food came out quickly and... was hot and delicious. My wife ordered the gnocchi and I ordered veal saltimbocca. Both were delicious. I also recommend theirempanada appetizer and the chicken prego looked very good also. Coming from New Jersey, I have a high standard for Italian food.It was an overall good experience and I plan on returning. Maybe after that second visit I can bump this up to five. Read more
What a wonderful anniversary! My husband made reservations and once we arrived and checked in, there was a bit of a delay... finding the reservation but was resolved. Celeste, our server was just amazing! The service, food, and environment wereawesome. Very diversified customers as well. The polenta was to die for. We both had the shrimp pasta and it was fresh andyummy. The bread was fresh and warm. The seating is nicely spread out. I had Tiramisu and my husband had a cannoli fordessert ? the best I?ve had. The restaurant looked very expensive but prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent- could not have been better. My... husband and I shared a serving of lasagna and were comletely satisfied with the serving. It was the best lasagna I have evereaten. Wanted to go back for more lasagna the next day. Great place, good ambiance + classy experience. Had the seafood risotto and it was exceptionally delicious. Bread was also quite... phenom. Being from Chicago I'm a bit particular about Italian cuisine. Highly recommended. Dinner for 4 was well priced. Gethere early if on a Friday, it gets packed even 5ish. Read more
Great restaurant, likely the best in this area. I convinced my mom and boyfriend to come here after Pregos moved locations, and... they were hesitant. After they tried it I seemed to be going there with them on a biweekly basis because how much they loveit. The food is truly fresh and most of the staff will go out of their way to make the experience great. You get great portionsfor the price and never feel like it should have been skipped, because they have great consistent quality. I appreciate thesmall menu, and seasonal item, which shows they care about the freshness and taste of the food! They handle parties and specialoccasions gracefully. Read more
I am on the fence about giving Prego's 3 stars. The food was really good, service was ok until we got our bill. When we got the... bill I noticed at the bottom of the receipt that we were paying more because we used a credit card. The waiter also ended upcharging our credit card more than the receipt he rang up. After I flagged him down and asked about it, he said he forgot tocharge us for dessert. So he just decided to charge more to my card without letting me know? That seemed wrong to me. Read more
