Others reviews are true. BBQ meat is soggy. Green beans stems didn't get removed on some so they are tough to eat. Bbq sauce ph... is too low or something, first bite burn my throat a little bit but I am good after some water and second bite. Baby back ribslooks kinda big so probably regular ribs Weird thing is that I didn't expect to serve fried chicken on my bbq dinner plate in abbq restaurant. I thought chicken will be bbq and not fried. Skin is crispy though but chicken meat is bland. They have makeenough sales to have 4-5 restaurants in town so locals like it, out of towner probably will be disappointed. Read more
I love Hursey's! Especially this location. I ate there today with a long time friend and neither of us had been there for lunch... in a long time. The food was great, as expected, as was the service. I plan on stopping in there a lot more often goingforward!! Read more
Waiting over 25 minutes in the drive thru. Called in the order. It was probably the worst ribs I?ve ever eaten.They were dry... over cooked or heated. The pig must have been a newborn because there was no meat on the ribs. B roasted chicken was also dryfrom sitting under a heat lamp. Cole slaw was good the collards ok. The sandwich and hush puppies were okay. I like real onion rings but they had very little breading on them, which is... disappointing. The problem was the cantankerous woman at the drive-through window who is very abrupt. Conversing with her isunpleasant and if I had to rate the restaurant for just her it would get one star. BBQ is soggy. Green beans are fine for canned. Brunswick stew is watered down and the meat in it had turned to mush. The one... bright spot is that the server is very friendly. Overall as long as your expectations of the food are not high you couldprobably do a little worse but it?s not what I would call good food by any standard. Read more
