Drove 40 miles to try this place out.Arived at 6:40pm.W40pm.Waited 45 min.for food..still didnt get it.2 guys behind us got... their food and they ordered after we did.By the way our order was a hamburger and an order of califlower!!! Very slow buisnesswith only 4 customers in bar and after 45 min we left hungry!..Bartender opologized saying cook was only 15 and he was sorry! Isthat even legal to have a 15 yr old cooking in a bar? It was a nice atmosphere except the service was very slow. One off the owners was sitting at the end of the bar more than half... drunk. Her son was the only one behind the bar & the cook too. The food was pretty good except i think her son was too high toremember to bring us everything after asking a couple times lol. He did try his hardest though & was a really nice kid. He justneeded help back there & didn't have any while his mom was there. I think he did better after she took off lol. Read more
So I stopped here because it's the first place I've seen in the SW on a Saturday night, with a mixed crowd of people. Now when I... say mixed crowd I mean Black folks, Mexican folks, White folks, Asian folks, native folks. You never know what you're going toget. But I like that that's how places all over the Southwest should be especially in Burlington! They did have a DJ but I don'tknow if they're still doing that. When they did the music was popping and it had a nice little crowd gettin it on the dancefloor. They also have two pool tables and a back patio. We had a great time at the Outpost! The bartender/waitress was one of the nicest that we have had in a while. The food is... amazing, and she was fast as can be with our drinks, they have table service which is fantastic. Their prices are veryreasonable. Read more
Love this place. Ownership truly cares. Clean and friendly environment. Good prices and selection. Try to go in at least once a... week for a tenderloin , chicken strips, or a burger. Everything I have tried have been well prepared. Read more
